Durable but not "short person" friendly
I got this for my daughter for Christmas. The product is very well made. Sturdy, durable, functional. The resistance is well done and gives a good workout and challenge to her muscles. I like how the bands are wrapped with fabric which protects her from snapping bands. If the bands ever snap, it will not hit her because the fabric casing will keep the snapped bands from flying in all directions and potentially hitting her in the face or elsewhere. The only thing that is not very good is that the bands don't adjust for short people. So, if she tries to do a squat, if she squats down about a foot, the bands lose all resistance and become tensionless. If she tries to do arm curls, there is no tension when her elbows are straight. She has to curl up about half way before the bands start to have tension. The only way around this is to use the door anchor. That way she can anchor the bands to the door (instead of her feet) and walk away from the door far enough so that there is tension in the bands at the beginning of the exercise. A little awkward but it works. So, if you are creative in your body and band positioning, you can get full range of motion and tension in all exercises. Be careful to anchor the bands closer to the hinge side of the door so that there is more support against the pull of the bands. Otherwise, if you anchor in the middle of the door it sometimes feels like the door is bending.Because it's possible to get a good workout with full range of motion, I can recommend this product. If you are a short person (my daughter is 5'1") you will need to use the door anchor to get full range of tension. If you only anchor with your feet, the only full range of tension you will probably get is with military presses.

Cheap- no instructions
This bar arrived with indentations on the foam of the bat because it was not well packaged. The bar is a heavy metal bar so be sure you’re not expecting a light material as I’ve seen others use. The carabiners are really cheesy and cheap. There are no instructions and while much is self explanatory, it would be helpful to know how to properly set this up for my height/ needs, etc. I only know what this extra piece is by reviewing other products to make out that I have a door stop. I’ll have to check on how to use that by looking online. Hopefully this bar will continue to function as needed as I aim to figure it out for myself.

Nice little set but a bit misleading
Yes. resistance bands are variable depending on how tight you stretch them and many don't really their stated resistance unless pulled to unrealistic lengths. However, these don't even come close. The 10 maxes out at 6, the 30 goes to 25 and the 40 only goes to 20. That said, they are perfectly nice bands and bands will always have to be replaced at some point anyway. The adjustable straps on the bar are helpful and the solid core handles also have built in foot straps. The bar feels very substantial. Overall this is a fine product as long as you don't care about the actual resistance.

Best Pilates bar I've seen so far
Item:TADAKAZU Pilates Bar Kit with Resistance Bands, Exercise Fitness Equipment for Women & Men, Home Gym Workouts,Portable Pilates Bar Kit Resistance Bands for Women Full Body WorkoutsPros:-Made good. Stitching is good, decently precise, the stitches where the buckles goes are good. The pole is nice quality.-Easily adjustable. The buckle they chose is perfect! Love how easy it is to adjust-Nice padding on pole-The handles are freakin awesome! The handles are a 2 in 1. Meaning you a foot and hand handle in one handle. A normal setup you would have 4 handles total, 2 for hands and two for feet and you would have to swap between them.Cons:-Two of the Carabiners aren't big enough. Only thing I don't like about them is for squats. I want resistance throughout the entire squat. To acheive that, you'll need to shrink the band length in half. The solution is to replace two carabiners with bigger ones. You can't do that with the current carabiners because the carabiner size won't fit the bands. You can fit one cable, but not comfortably, and you might damage the cable lining.-I'm not a fan of the cable lining. Just a personal preference, but I think the band is fine without it.Other Thoughts:-I got this for my baby momma, but her review for me was 'its great'. So I had to try it out myself. I'll most likely buy one for myself too!!

Not good
The bar is too long and the way the bands hook to the bar make the range too long and you don’t get any resistance until you’re already almost already completely stretched out. Would not recommend and I should have returned this.
