This thing works like a champ. It holds the whole 15lb bag of rice I tend to get, with much space to spare.The lid could be a bit more secure, kinda just rests on top. It does the job, and is something that is easily fixed with a simple weight. Still, I'd prefer a latch.The measuring bit is consistent and reliable. Just push the lever down and wait till sound of rice dumping is done, then raise and use the rice (or lower and raise a few more times as needed).If you use rice daily, this is totally the way to go.

The media could not be loaded. Great dispenser. Saves us time (prior to this we used to open and close the rice bag for every turn) as we just push the button up and down to get a cup of rice. No spills, no wastage !!!! The dispenser is less than 2 feet in height, so it fits perfectly into our kitchen cabinet adding great ease and comfort of use. The instructions that came in package is entirely Japanese or Korean. So I found it difficult at start but thesteps are numbered with pictures and parts are easy to put together in less than 5 minutes. Take a look at this video for a short demo

This thing is cool. Looks like the pictures and gets the job done. No more measuring out cups from a Tupperware-style plastic container.

I wish they could have a smaller amount per push, but overall it’s a good product.

Strong, holds plenty of rice and cleans well. Good for small and big kitchens. Visible rice let's you know when to refill. Makes a good cup of rice per lever use.

This is best item which I got in this year. So easy to use. Very convenience.

The first dispenser came in a battered box and it certainly appeared to have been returned. So, I asked for a replacement which came promptly. This one was new but after assembling it, it simply didn't work. I even asked my son and son-in-law to try their hands at putting it together. Everything written on the box is in Japanese so my son took a picture of the instructions and he was able to get an English translation but that didn't help. So I am returning this rice dispenser and not bothering to get a replacement. And by the way, although the whole box is covered with Japanese writing, there's a tiny sticker on the bottom corner of the box which says "Made in China". So, I'm going to look locally and make sure that the rice dispenser I buy is made in Japan - that's what I thought I was getting when I ordered this one!

Convenient and sturdy. I have come to rely on the dispenser for measuring the rice. Each pull is equal to 3/4 cup. It measures the same amount as the plastic cup that came with the rice cooker. Great product!
