I tested the AnyCubic ABS-Like in 'clear' on a Voxelab Proxima 6 resin printer and I was extremely pleased with the results. Anycubic only provide recommended settings for their own printers but I based my own on these and have no failures, I actually suspect that I have been over cautious and could substantially reduce the exposure times for a quicker print.I use a spring steel print surface which some resins have trouble sticking to, this has been perfect every time, in fact even with the flexible bed adhesion has been very strong when removing the parts, conversely there was no sign that the resin was sticking to the FEP at all, either in distortion of the finished part or sound. I think I can say in all fairness that this is the most reliable resin I've used to date.I've been using my printer to print parts (ironically mostly fan ducts for my FDM printers) at the moment so detail has mostly been limited to fine screw threads, but the parts those threads have printed very well, as indeed have the whole parts.Thin parts flat on the build plate come out very clear, the thin calibration tests I ran for example and the rafts under parts. The finish on most actual parts printed is more like a frosted finish although they appear clear while still wet (and are effectively invisible in the cleaning alcohol!), this seems to be down to the printer definition & layer lines, two or three coats of clear lacquer got it to a decent 'clear ice' finish, I suspect a slightly thicker clear varnish would be both better & quicker.Part strength seems very good, there's a little bit of flexibility but the overall impression is solidity, I'd designed fan ducts to snap onto the printer's hot end heatsinks and they fit perfectly with a firm grip in place but so far have put up with the flexing inherent in a snap-on part very well, only time will tell if they become brittle with time as I have had this problem with other resins, but so far so impressive.

This is good strong resin and it is a good amount for the money.Very reliable, would purchase again.

Excellent quality printing resin have used this before and it’s excellent

I’ve used this resin in our Elegoo Saturn. We used our standard settings.The room is warmed and the resin is kept at optimal temperatures.We’ve had many a catastrophe when either myself or my husband have dropped our miniatures and they have broken or shattered. It’s heartbreaking after the hours and hours of painting they’ve taken.This resin is definitely the answer and produces prints with high precision that are not brittle but tough and resilient. The print can deal with a lot of tensile stress or impact from falling.I do think if you are using your models for tabletop gaming then you might want to consider this resin.It’s easy to use, easy to cure and clean.It has a shelf life of 18 months whereas most resins have an expiry date of 12 months.We found it to be perfect for higher strength models.I do think that we will use this in future.Great product. Good value.Update:I’ve added some photos of some jewellery that’s been made using this resin. Honestly it’s far better than standard resin for this type of thing. It enables the removal of printing supports on fine detail without causing any damage to the print.I was really happy with the result.

I've tried many types of ABS-like resins and so far this is my least favourite. It functions well enough, had no issues printing but the material properties aren't the best.- Scratches easily- Appears purple in sunlight (the black colour)- Over-cures easily and becomes brittle- Translucent, like many black resins.

I bought this as I print black parts but there's not enough pigment in it to justify the word black. Walls less than 2mm show light through.As far as resins go I'd say that Anycubic make great resin printers but iffy resins.

ANYCUBIC 3D Printer ResinI use a different brand of ABS resin however, since i like testing different product i wanted to compare this ABS like resin to the standard resin which Ive often for certain projects.The ABS like resin+ was fairly tough its alot tougher than the standard resin so it wont break as easily so the impact resistance should be high however, i did find that the ABS like resin+ wasn't as strong as another branded resin of the similar type yet i am pleased with the results as its certainly not weak.I liked the result of the resolution while also being flexible so this can be more durable than the standard resin. The curing i noticed was quicker than most ABS type resin from other brands.Overall after doing a few prototype project i was happy with the results its not the best in my opinion however, using the curing aspect was quicker so if your split for time this would be a better resin to use.Like with all things would i recommend and to be honest i would use this again yet its a product that you must experience to see if it fits your needs.
