Easy to use, great feel and lather
I purchased this soap base to make essential oil loofah soaps as Christmas gifts and I am so happy with its quality! I feel like the price was fair for the amount of base I received and it was so easy to melt down and add my own scents. Very simple to use and I love that it contains natural ingredients. It didn’t dry out my skin but cleaned really well and was very effective for gift giving.

Contains palm oil
More so disappointed that it has palm oil, I loved the brand the extra lather I would get but the palm oil was one major factor as to why I can’t use them as my main soap supplier. I can only buy the clear base that’s palm oil free. They need to add more soap base without palm oil at least give us a option. This is one of my favorite soap brands and I’m quiet disappointed because I run a all natural business, we’re using this product as a melt and pour but palm oil heated at a high temp can be cancerous. No chemicals
Both myself and my son have sensitive skin/eczema, so I wanted a soap that would moisturize without stripping. Most soaps I've tried either burn or irritate our skin.I bought handmade soap locally before and the cold press was over priced for not lasting long or lathering. The melt and pour goats milk soap I bought would not lather and had SLS/SLES in it and that actually burned and irritated our skin.So in all effort to save money and try to find something that will gently cleanse I am going to make our own soap.I want to try melt and pour first before I go into cold press and chose this base because it is all natural.Locally I can buy a goat milk base of 5 lbs for about $13 but it contains SLS/SLES.This one costs a bit for only 2 lbs but since it's natural I'd rather stick to this one.

Good stuff.
I'm not new to soap making. I've made my own cold process as well as used melt n pour bases like this for a while. The oatmeal soap base by Saint Terra is really good. I've bought the expensive stuff from two very well known specialty soap making suppliers, and this matches or exceeds the oatmeal bases from them.It takes scent and mica colors well, melts and moulds smoothly, cures quickly, and is a delight to work with. I use both pure essential oils and fragrance oils incase you were curious. In use, it suds up nicely with a smooth creamy lather, rinses clean, and isn't drying or harsh on my sensitive skin.Would recommend for novice and experienced soap makers alike.
