NEED MODIFICATION, but they do work perfectly.
They are perfect, but you NEED to modify them to get them to go in and out correctly, otherwise they'll have to stay in, just use an angle grinder to take some of the locking tab off, enough to keep it in, but not enough to poke above the top when the blank key is in, if it's flush or a little below center with the blank installation key in, you're good to go. The first pic is as they come, the second pic is modified no key, the third is install key in, so you can see what I mean.

WORTHLESS! You can't remove these! You can unlock with nail clippers!
The media could not be loaded. Put them in before I realized you can't install the rack with it in. Tried to remove, WILL NOT COME OUT! As other people said. I should have read the reviews first! Idk how to even return them because they're stuck in the lock assembly! I didn't think I would have a reason to remove them, until I realized you can't put them on with the lock in it. My son thought of a way we might still be able to install by taking the whole lock assembly out and then putting it on after we get the rack on. We'll see if that works. Unfortunately it started raining after we started trying to get it on.Still trying hours later. My son decided to try and see if he could stick something else in there and get it out. I've taken a video. You can see how much we have damaged this lock housing and the lock trying to remove it. The whole front plate of the lock came off. Those scratches and dents are all from this evening. My son pulled out his nail clippers and inserted the file into the lock. He was able to easily unlock it! Totally WORTHLESS!!!!

They work
They work, I went for the cheapest locks I could find. Came with like 8 keys. My Yakima rack "security" cover is plastic (I think they all are) so the locks really aren't useful for anything besides being a deterrent. Even if you bought the Yakima brand locks for 50 dollars or whatever you could still rip off the plastic cover in a few seconds. I'd rather have these there than a gaping hole though. Tolerances and materials seem poor so you might want to blast them with some silicone grease or something so they don't seize up on you.

They work as I hoped they would.
A little loosey goosey in the lock spot, but a good peace of mind to have in to avoid someone stealing really expensive racks. I bought a second set for the racks on my other car.

Waste of time :(
Blank key doesn’t even get in into the SKS core, so I could not remove the core.Comparing the key they sent to me to the pictures of the original SKS… they have nothing to do with one another. Not surprise I failed on the 1st step, which is removing the old core.

They work
They work like they should although they do have a loose fit. They also use the same key as the ones I got for my Thule rack over a year ago
