Allows you to use your power station to charge a Tesla
The media could not be loaded. Works perfectly to ground my EcoFlow delta 2 to allow it to charge my Tesla. I plan on using the EcoFlow for other things but it is a nice reassurance if I really needed a little charge, I can always use my power station. I tried it without this, and the Tesla will not charge, so it needs the ground.

RV with EMS and BLUETTI
I have an RV and installed the wired power watchdog and use my BLUETTI 300l as back up power when I’m off grid, I was getting an open ground error on the power watchdog when attached to the BLUETTI. After researching and finding out you can get this ground error with generators I bought this adapter. Everything works perfectly now!

Good to have if using a generator
I'm no electrical whiz, but I've learned that most portable generators have what is called a "floating neutral" or "open neutral" as opposed to a fixed ground in their circuitry. It has to do with their not being grounded to the Earth like your house circuitry, for instance, and that's why your generator might have a ground lug and a sticker suggesting you ground the unit. Now, short of pounding a conductor rod into the ground and running a wire to it from the ground lug on the generator, this product will complete the loop between the neutral and the ground blade on your device's plug (that third, rounded, blade on the plug is the ground, and it's there to send electricity safely away if something goes wrong with your power circuit). You will find some who feel grounding or bonding plugs are dangerous, since they will just send power from the hot leg to the neutral leg of the plug going to the device being powered, counting on the breaker or a GFCI (if one is in the circuit) to trip and stop the current flow. But many generators simply won't power certain devices if one is not used. So to prevent an outage, I keep one with my generators and make sure my power cords and extension cords are in top condition.Bottom line? If you choose to use one, this particular bonding plug appears to be well-made and safer than a home-made solution.

I like the small form factor.
I have an inlet box outside my home that feeds a quad outlet inside my house so there are no wires running thru a door or a window from my generators. This setup is simply to charge my power stations indoors and to run an extension as needed in my family room during a power outageMy generators (suitcase style) provide about 32 amps combined but they are both floating neutral. Your home (in most cases) provides a bonded neutral thru your breaker panel but my quad outlet is solely powered by my generators and it is not connected to my breaker panel. I plug in a single bonding plug to my quad outlet and it bonds the entire outlet, the inlet box, the extension cord and the generator providing the power to the outlet. Most appliances can run just fine on a floating neutral but some electronic control boards will throw an error code or simply glitch when they can't find a reference to ground, so I prefer to use a bonded plug to charge my power stations. These bonded plugs are small and highly visible, they do the job.

Works WELL Every Time - Sealed Too!
It has worked flawlessly. Tight fit in socket, sealed end - far less chance to short if generator is being used outside, in light rain or snow. Used mine daily for a 9 day RV trip, 3 hours a day recharging house batteries and occasionally at home on my solar power station. Bright colored - makes it EASY to find too.

Must have for surge protector use with generator.
A must have for camper surge protector use with generator. I’ve bought this twice now. One set for me and one as a gift. Worked great.
