Mounting
1.If you have a conventional ballast (ballast) or low-loss ballast (ballast or ballast), then you can simply replace the existing fluorescent tube and starter with the LED tube and the replacement starter (jumper).
2.If your neon tube holder has an electronic ballast (ECG), a corresponding rewiring must be carried out!
3.As an alternative, the ballasts (KVG, VVG or ECG) can also be removed or bridged in both cases and the LED tube can be directly connected to 230V at the active end. That has the advantage that the ballast is off the grid and thus no longer consumes electricity.
For many ceiling grid luminaires, for example 2 or 4 fluorescent tubes, these are often connected in a tandem circuit. If you have previously operated fluorescent tubes with a tandem circuit, you must reconnect the luminaire when connecting to LED tubes and connect each LED tube to 230 V.
