I've been cutting my own hair for more than a decade now, bought professional-grade Andis clippers when I got started and they've been great but could tell they were wearing down over the last year or so. Went with these BaByliss clippers because I got their DLC 2.0 trimmer last year and absolutely love it. Just did my first cut with the new clippers and I was thoroughly impressed. Compared to my old clippers, these didn't get anywhere close to as warm, the cut was super efficient and took half the time to get the same kind of fade, and the power was definitely noticeable - made me pay closer attention because a mistake would be hard to recover from. I also love the different length settings and that they click in to place, very pleasant surprise. These are a couple hundred bucks so definitely not cheap, but I can tell these clippers are going to last me another 10 years easily if I want them to. I did buy BaByliss premium clipper guards separately and I highly recommend it, the sturdiness is immediately recognizable when compared to the ones that come with the clippers and it's only about a $20 add-on if I remember correctly. I've never cared about noise level but these were quieter than my old Andis clippers. Already excited to do my next haircut!

Boyfriend loves it

At first, I really liked these Clippers but after the 2nd month they were pulling hair. Since they were no longer returnable, I did buy another pair, thinking it was a fluke. The second pair arrives and I bring it to work. During my second hair cut, the lever breaks and nicked a customer. Twice Babylon’s failed. I went back to Wahl.

I have used Babyliss cordless clippers for a very long time. Years. This particular pair of clippers actually get quite hot during 1 haircut. Not great while during zero gaurd cuts. Not sure why that is. Cutting quality is great, holds a charge for several days.
