These cotton undies are the best in the game! I’ve been a loyal MeUndies customer since the pandemic. Its the only undie brand for me at this point.Plus their customer service team is fantastic, if ever needed.

They do feel soft but the sizes are not exact

These are a great basic black pair of high waisted briefs.

So, yes, the cotton is soft. Yay! Size was pretty true in the cotton part. BUT -- if you despise tight elastic on your undies, these are not the ones for you. Not only is the elastic tight, but it's very heavy-duty, so thick and not super comfortable in either way (not for stretch, not for material). I was thinking of ordering a size up, thought maybe that would make them less tight, but then realized that, nope, that wide, stiff waistband would still irritate the heck out of me . STRIKE ONEAlso, these advertise themselves as "high-waisted briefs". These are not briefs. Certainly not high-waisted ones. I am 5'7" tall and bought size L, and the top of the elastic was still a good 1" to 1-1/2" inches below my navel. Not that I'm prone to navel-gazing, but I would have been happier if they'd been a good 3/4" higher. These are essentially what used to be known as "hipsters" (no offense to people who call themselves hipsters). STRIKE TWOI know I need a STRIKE THREE for an official "out", but two was all I needed to decide these are not the panties for me, and I will not be ordering more. If you are young, thin, not bothered by your belly being cut in two with elastic, don't care if "briefs" no longer means what it used to, then go for it. But if COMFORT is your real goal, I'd keep looking. That's what I will be doing.Yep, I'm sad. Wanted them to work. But they didn't. So maybe that's my Strike Three -- you're outta there!

I will now buy them in all the different patterns. Soft and fit perfectly.
