Rehydrated quickly! Will store in frig. as noted by others. Great flavor. Great value. Already put in an omelet! Yummy!

Nice and high-quality mushrooms, excellent for soups that I love to cook and to eat. Heads mostly, seldom ever a steam there is and only if attached to the head and very short. Although i love the steam too, but others seem to complain about. So there you are: no steams here.

Flavor is nice

I absolutely love these dried mushrooms! I have let so many fresh mushrooms wither away in my fridge before I got around to using them, but I don't have to worry about that with these! They are easy to rehydrate and taste great! I froze the broth from rehydrating and had to use it in place of chicken broth recently and it was great! The little stems don't soften up so I cut those off before soaking. I have used these 5 or 6 times and still have half a bag left so a little goes a long way. I wish I had discovered these years ago!

Delicious in my miso doup

Exactly what I wanted. Grinds in coffee grinder to a fine ground to steep for tea. Add splash of lemon. 1 cup a day. Excellent !!!

I found these hard to reconstitute with plain warm water, and I think they sliced up a bunch of hard stems to go in the package. The taste is not the best nor what I remember shiitaki mushrooms having.

Tastes great rehydrated. Using in soups, ramen and stir fry’s. Great quantity for a great price.
