I ordered the guitar from Amazon a few weeks ago.. Due to circumstances beyond my control the guitar finally arrived on Jan. 24..coincidentally I bought a Vox VT20 + from a pawn shop that same day. The guitar arrived in a box from Tapestry music from BC. It was well packed.. Double boxed.. No damage at all. The guitar is AWESOME.. the tones is am getting through the amp as I a am getting used to the amp.. I can't describe unless you hear it yourself. From the cleanest of clean.. To bluesy grit..and beyond.. Beautiful.. The neck plays really good.. Smooth.. As this is the initial review of the guitar.. I will give a more in depth review in a few weeks as I get used to the guitar with my amps.. Btw I also have a tube amp.. As I said before.. This guitar is awesome right now.. High quality.. Highly recommend it.. And kudos to Tapestry music.. They were great..

The Yamaha Pacifica has a good reputation. The guitar that we received is flawless and the sound is fantastic. Playable out of the box. Did not have to setup the guitar it was plug and play.

Attention ! Si vous achetez cette guitare, voici la couleur que vous recevrez (photo ci-jointe). Il existe une confusion chez Yamaha sur la Couleur Sonic Blue. Ce n'est pas bleu comme sur l'image, mais vert. J'ai dû faire 80 kilomètres pour aller échanger la guitare chez le marchand qui ne s'en était pas aperçu. Même si c'est écrit que l'on rembourse les frais d'expédition en cas d'erreur dans la description, on m'a demandé d'assumer les frais de retour.

I love this guitar. It feels great to hold, it plays great. The tuning keys are a bit stiff, but I’m not sure if that’s just because it’s new or not. The factory strings are great and it was a great way to try out a lighter gauge than I usually use. Overall, great value for the price. I like it better than my entry-level Gretsch. As an aside, the seller was fantastic! I needed to change my delivery address as I didn’t want it delivered at home while I wasn’t there. They did that and answered all my questions in a timely manner. It was shipped the very next day and arrived much sooner than the estimated date. Overall I’m very happy with this guitar prior to a proper set up.
