Beautifully made reconstruction of the aftermath of ww2 relocation of jewish refugees from Cyprus.Excellent direction and outstanding performances from the cast. Well worth watching.

Wonderful movie

The product was good . Film well acted and the story an education but it was far too long . Needed serious editing.Paul Newman holds it together.

Enjoyed the film, and obviously very close to what is going o at present. Ending a little different but all in all good.

Beautifully done story of the advent of Modern Israel. Of course, it is an attempt to follow the main protagonists, and supposition "interprets" the facts, which Hollywood often does to enhance the story, but the basics of the setting are sound. Emotionally impactful and superior acting. A classic!
