Love it!
I do not like cats on my kitchen counters. This has helped train them to stay off. No more cats on the stove! Battery lasts a very long time. Easy to set up and use.

Get some tape to hold it in place.
Effective if your cat doesn't have a lot of hair on their paws. Also, needs some kind of double sided tape to keep it in place. All in all, not too bad.

Used to keep cats off counter, bought them not that long ago and no longer work.

Got the job done
I purchased this because my cat would get on my counters. It took one time of her stepping on it and the alarm going off to scare her off of it for good!

Waste of Money - Completely Ineffective
Completely inefective, green lights are on, and does make a beeoing sound, but does not deter the dogs at all. Will probebely end up in the trash because it's pointless to leave it out when it dies absolutely nothing to deter them. very dissappointing. Did not set up until past the return window, because I have used a scat mat in the past and it never dawned on me that there was a possibility it would not be effective. Waste of Money

Works great
We have two small digs and 2 cats. This mat works great. Our animals stopped peeing where they were not suppose to.

Shocking
This has a really strong shock to it. I tested it on myself first and was really surprised at how strong it was. I can't speak to how effective the noise/pulse is, but its not audible to human ears. We don't use that as we don't want to deter her from the entire room. I haven't found my cat on it when we do put it down, but we have continued to find her on the couch on the nights that we don't use it (so it doesn't necessarily work for longer term deterrence without continued usage). It's kind of annoying to get setup initially as you have to cycle through a bunch of the combinations, but once you get it where you want, it's a single button press to turn it back on to that same setting. I'd say this is a decent value at $33, but maybe not the best.
