These bookends are strong but discreet, exactly what I was looking for. They hold the books well, without being too heavy or clunky. Would recommend

They do the job well

These are decent little bookends, but they are not as strong/ sturdy as I had expected.I bought them to hold my LPs upright on my storage shelves, ended up having to use two at a time to divide LPs up effectively. I accept that I am not using them for books, might be perfectly acceptable for that purpose.

Have purchased these items before for storage of books both in the office area and at home. They work well but would recommend that they are screwed into the shelf area [they can be moved later if needed to alter the space between and holes not seen when covered by books] - check as some base plates have one hole and others two[more sturdy] Highly recommend and are great value for money for the peace of mind they give.
