Alternative to more costly brands
I bought these because I know the Teva brand is high quality and I expected these would be durable and comfortable. I have to say that they have a lot of adjustments and it took some trial and error to find the right adjustment but I’m really happy with the performance and I have used these for kayaking and they dry reasonably quickly. Overall good value.

Half Price Wonders Worth Full Price
Amazing! At first I held thrm up to my New Balance Cross Trainers & they seemed a size too small. Nope! The same size 12 compared to my New Balance sandles. Love at first wearing. A bit tihht getting them on, then it's heaven fir my feet until they come easily off. The first time the arches actually fit where my high arches really were. I put my New Balance sandles in the closet. Teva mostly sometimes the Cross Trainers

Perfect water/hiking shoe
I bought these shoes for a Galapagos expedition. It was the best choice: comfortable in water and very sturdy for hiking! Got some lightweight bamboo socks for the hiking excursions.

Do the job not as tight
This is my 2nd pair of tevas. The first were more water based and the back strap was rubber and snapped after about 2 months. These are a little pricier but have a thicker sole (my pants don't rub on the ground now) and the material is not rubber and is working well. They don't hug my feet as tight as the old pair but that's ok and I did get a blister on the back of my left foot where the strap is. It takes a minute to dial em in but they're easy to put on and I'm a 12 wide and they fit great and yes I always wear socks under them. I do use these when I walk my pups in the woods and theare fine for creek crossings, not sure they would be great water shoes... 4 star for the buckle assembly and velcro but that's today's manufacturing... I do recommend if they fit your needs. I am not an open toe sandal guy and these work.

Great grip and comfort
This is my 6th pair. I wear them every day unless it is raining or snowing. They are my primary hiking shoes. I hike the AT in spring-fall, and mountains around Palm Springs in winter...hills and rocks. Great grip and comfort! Don’t think of them as sandals, rather shoes with vents. I have back issues and find that traditional hiking and running shoes with elevated heels contribute to back fatigue and sensitive toes. Omnium shoes have more of an earthshoe like sole that keeps my lower back loose. The wider sole and lower heal greatly reduce the chance of rolling an ankle. They are ridiculously comfortable! Yes, I am a fan. I have tried all the favorites, Keene and Merrill, but none stack up to the Omnium. All friends and family I recommend Omnium to have become repeat customers. The new model with the blue strap is about 5% narrower than prior model, and in my opinion, not a move in the right direction.

Rubbed my heel raw!
What the heck Teva?!?!? I have owned many pairs of Teva's and have never had this problem. There's a hard bump on the heel where the loop for adjustment is sewn down. No padding. Absolutely guaranteed to rub your heel raw. Unwearable. Ridiculous for such a reputable company to make such a bad product. Teva should be ashamed of themselves. Back they go!
