I would buy these again as very dangerous. One side of the straighteners keeps falling down which means with the heat you burn your hands. I did think on arrival they looked as if they had been opened and I believe they were already sent back due to this fault. The problem is I cannot send them back as I use chemicals in my hair, but I’ve only had them two days for the record and now can’t use them at all.

I love the concept of having a curling wand and straightener in one - anything to minimise the number of products I have to store.This is an interesting design with a sliding cover over the curling wand, to turn it into straighteners, with a lock to keep it in place.As the plates are curved, they require a bit of force to hold them together, not so much of an issue on thick hair as there is so much to straighten, and it comes with a heat protective glove to protect your hand.It leaves my hair smooth and shiny, I'm very happy with it.

Out of the box and the item is really nicely presented. They would make a fantastic looking gift. In the box, you get the curler / straighteners, a storage bag and a protective glove. The styling wand has a really good weight to it. It really does feel like a well made item. The lead is a really good length, allowing you to easily reach all parts of your hair. I particularly like the way in which the lead attaches to the styling wand. It is on a swivel, which means that the lead swivels round as you use the wand. This stops the lead from tangling up. This is a small’ish feature, but it really makes a difference.On the side of the styling wand is two small buttons - the on / off button and a +/- button to allow you to set the temperature.There are up to five settings from 150 to 230 degrees. It feels like they have a very quick heat up time. It is possible to easily and safely switch from the straight mode to the curl mode. This is done by sliding the covers up to put the styling wand in straight mode. You can then lock the plates together and slide the covers down to activate curl mode.Straighteners - Having the rounded barrel over the straighteners to create a wave in straight mode is really helpful for the novice. It makes getting a wave in straight mode much more intuitive than normal straighteners. Additionally, in order to get them to have an even grip in straightener mode, you have to grip them quite hard, otherwise you end up with a stronger grip at the tip than you do in the middle. In order to get an even distribution, you need to hold them quite firmly.Curling - If you are somebody who wants to acheive lots of different types of curls, this probably isn’t the right product as you only have one barrel size. On specific curlers, you get different interchangeable barrel sizes. This isn’t possible with this product. I suspect that the phrase ‘Jack of all trades, master of none’ might come to mind.If you are somebody looking to mainly use a straightener and occasionally use a barrel curler, then this would be a good product. However, if your primary need is a barrel curler, you may want to consider something more specific with wider options and different sized barrels.

Wow, what an absolutely amazing product this item is!Not only did this excellent gadget give me the option to create multiple hairstyles ranging from poker straight sleek styles to glossy tight/ loose bouncy curls.But also because it is in theory a two in one device, it not only would of saved me a ton of money on having to buy each device separately but it's saving me space on my dressing table and in my travel bag too which is such a lovely bonus.Made by Remington, a well known and trusted brand. This styler in its dark grey and gold colour combination looks both an expensive and stylish item to the eye.The styler itself is no heavier to hold than an average hair straightener and has a built in locking facility that enabled me to lock the two wands together securely.The temperature of the device ranges from a hot 150 degrees up to an impressive 240 degrees which allowed me to chose a tempersture setting that was more tailored to the texture and condition of my hair.The totally unique and cleverly designed slidable wand covers allowed me to quickly select between the straightening mode into the curling mode and back again depending on my mood or event happening that day.The chosen style lasted in my shoulder length fine hair well but more practice is definitely required for me to get the lushous locks that a hairdresser can produce on the curling setting.No damage has occurred or the overall condition of my hair hasnt deteriorated after frequent use of the product.Definitely am item that I would be happy to recommend.

Well, it’s definitely not a good curler at all as as the safety attachment doesn’t lock in place. Also caused me to burn my ear when straightening my hair with this as the safety attachment kept sliding down. The product overall has been poorly designed. As a straightener, it doesn’t clamp down tightly so you have to press it together to clamp it. Don’t waste your money.
