This tables work great in our 3 water tanks

I tried this stock tank cleaner out of curiosity, and because my TSC was as out of the Stock Tank Defense I normally use. I have a few small, 25gal troughs and a few 100-150 gal. They were emptied, cleaned, and fresh water added because it'd been 2.5wks since I'd had the Defense tablets to use. I used as directed the first day. 5days later had to add 1.5x the directed amount... That cleaned it up, but had to do the same again 5 days later. My horses drink the small troughs of empty daily so they're never bad. They drink the large troughs down about a third daily in a TX summer. Defense, I use one tablet a week. I'll be going back to it, as though a little bit more expensive on the front, it lasts longer and overall uses less.

I bought this to help with my water troughs. I thought I was going to be disappointed and to my surprise it it does keep my water clear while also stretching out how often I have to clean them. It did not have any negative impact on my horses nor my troughs. I will say if used correctly along side of the salt tablets you will be very happy.

We have always used the liquid version for stock tanks, less then a capful gets the job done. These tablets when used in the same tanks, we had to place 4 times the recommended amount and still had to scrub tanks more often than I wanted to. I used these up then found a place that sold the Stock plex in liquid and bought a 4 year supply..

We have a stock tank swimming pool and it is helping to get rid of rust. Water is clear and no new spots are occurring. Also works great for keeping the water clear and my horses water trough.

Didn't work at all dumped a whole jar in after following directions in a 50 gal tank. Stayed green.

I felt like this should work, I cleaned the tank and followed directions for beginning use. Within a fortnight of the first application the tank was scumming over again and growing algie. I carried on using the tablets but found myself still haveing to dump the tank and refill just as often as I was before starting the tablets. I've since stopped using them. I live in Texas and the sun is very intense and summers very hot, perhaps the circumstances are too extreme for these to work. Give them a try, perhaps you will have better luck. I've returned to using a burlap barley bag and it seems to work a bit better. Dump and clean is a fact of life for here in North Texas I decided.

I have been using this product for a long time. I put six of them in the water trough for my horses and it helps keep the water clean.
