It is very resistant and complies with what it says although personally the circular glue comes much larger than what I occupied, in conclusion I give it 5 stars

The red film DOES NOT COME OFF! I ruined 2 pads trying to peel off the red film for the other adhesive side and it just would not come apart. Cannot use. Should have read the reviews carefully before committing to buy.

I drive for a living (~40,000+miles/year), and it is imperative that I have a dash cam in my daily drive. I had a windshield replaced, and they replaced the same pad to the new windshield. However once it started getting warm in Phoenix, AZ... it finally failed. I had no problem mounting the new sticky pad to the cleaned windshield: I just wish I could say the same for renovations the red protective cover. I had to try to get my vet short nails under the wrapped around cover. This took some time, as I was afraid of removing the sticky pad too... which some small bits did come off. It would have been easier if this product came with a small starter tab, to make getting this protective cover off without damaging the product underneath.

I had to get my truck windshield replaced, and this was the same type of tape used for my original camera. So, the first thing to note is that removing the tape shows how great is at gripping the windshield, but it was not a struggle to remove it, meaning is well designed to keep affixed, but also so make it possible to remove the tape without too much work. For reattaching the camera I got a couple of these strips, cut one of them to size and affixed my camera to the replacement windshield with no problem. Extremely secure and zero issues with the Texas heat on the windshield.

I would not buy these again. They don't hold unless u use two at a time. The stickiness is terrible. Too easy to remove. Not durable. Not easy to remove plactic backing. Only thing good is that it's a hit oversized.

These worked so much better than the ones that came with my dashboard cellphone mount. My car sits out in the sun and heat so strong adhesive that won't melt is exactly what I needed.
