I like this little dude! It is a nice, realistic size and well made. The paint job is pretty good, though maybe a little shiny, though it is like he just popped out of the water. If you're a fan of realistic animal figurines, this'll be a fun one for your collection!

Our 6-year-old daughter and 5-year-old son absolutely love Schleich figures and we collect them as a family. We usually only buy one of each figure, but both kids really wanted one for themselves. As they are close in age and homeschool, it's nice to treat our kids when we can. And, these figure also serve as learning aids. The details on these fire salamanders are excellent, but as you can see, the yellow paint on one of the figures is already chipping. I'm still giving five stars as the kids love these figures and they are typical Schleich quality.

Maybe it was me but I presumed it was going to be bigger, I actually got this as a gift for my brother and I would be lying if I said I wasn’t disappointed when I opened the package due to the size. I apologize for the photos I used a hair clip to reference for the size. Other than the size it’s beautiful the color is gorgeous and it looks of good quality. It’s just disappointing in size. Size matters for something’s and this is one of.
