Fun puzzles
I wasn’t sure I’d like this but the puzzles within puzzles kept me glued to the story. Greg and Ruth’s relationship was funny and endearing. Definitely going to read the next book.

Excellent English mystery
This is the third book in this series; I’ve read and loved the first two books, and this one did not disappoint. This book can easily stand alone, though. Ruth is the main character, a 60ish English lady who is a former police officer, now working as a food consultant for restaurants and such, traveling in her RV with her 18-yr-old grandson, who is taking a gap year. Ruth and Greg are visiting her sister, Margaret, and brother-in-law, Charles, who are in a bind to find a will. Charles’ father has passed away and had an extreme fondness for puzzles. Charles knows that his father has hidden the will, but they can’t even find the first clue. There’s a half-brother in the picture and Charles is certain he will inherit all the estate and not be forced to split it, and they desperately need the whole estate to afford the upkeep of the property. Ruth has barely arrived and they find the butler dead; he’s served the family for decades and they thought they trusted him, but now they’re not sure. The whole mystery is really fun and well-written. Ruth is a stellar character and sleuth. I can highly recommend this book and series; I was provided an arc, which I really appreciate, but these opinions are my own.
