Works and is Inexpensive
They should let people know, perhaps on the front label, that this is basically Tea Tree Oil. So it's mostly a natural medication. I used it on my Betta Fish, and it healed fish of minor fin rot. The instructions are very clear; but the water does get a bit murky and icky after 3 days of treatment (halfway through). I did several small water changes to stop the water from looking icky and murky during treatment due to my smaller 5 gallon tank. But I had to do a complete tank cleaning after the 7 day treatment - cause the water is so murky. But it works, and that is what counts! I would definitely recommend

Works great
Worked great. Saw an immediate change in my fish. He is up swimming and doing well. His color is much better. Whatever was bothering him is gone. I did a price comparison at a local pet store and this one was half the price.

Works great against fin rot
My betta fish didn't look great when I got him, but he was a color match for one I'd bought with my nieces and nephew that didn't make it through his first water change. I was careful, but the other guy just didn't handle the stress of the new tank. I've had many betta fish over the years. They normally last about 6/7 years. I hadn't had one in a while and I felt it would be a fun thing to get for the kids. So, when the little guy didn't make it I rushed out to the pet store looking for a near match so the kids weren't upset. The only similar fish the pet store had looked a little tired with fins that weren't great, but not that bad. I took a chance and thought he might do better with a good water change, nice size tank, and some TLC. I used a little aquarium salt at first as I'd read it fixes most issues like these, but it wasn't enough. His energy was good, but his fins got worse, and clean water changes weren't working. I think they were stressing him out. It didn't look like normal fin rot. The tail had gotten really pointy and strange looking. I've never had that happen with a fish before. In fact, I've never had to deal with fin rot at all. After some research I bought this to give it a shot and within a week the little guy has a nice, normal, fan-like tail instead of the pointy rotten one. He's doing great. I've never used a product like this, so I have nothing to compare it to. I didn't know what to expect, but I'm thrilled with the results. The little guy is flaring again and swimming all over the tank. I'll keep this product on hand as long as I own fish to ensure I have it if they need it. I think when using this product, like with any chemicals for your fish, that you follow directions and err on the side of caution so as not to use too much. My little guy is recovering and I've stopped using the product. There's a very small hole in the tail, but I think at this point the aquarium salt and frequent clean water will heal that.

one of the best products
My beta was dying. Let's just get that out right now. He had fin rot. He was malnourished. His tank was the complete wrong ph and it seemed that everything i did was making it worse. So as a last-ditch effort, i got this. Poured some in his water filter every day. Withing in TWO DAYS, he was swimming, he was eating, the milky spots on his fins and scales was clearing up. His tanks algae finally started going away. I would absolutely recommend. And i have already purchased this a second time to keep on hand, just in case. It is small but it does have enough to do a whole week for a 10 gl tank.

Good product, but worse cup design
Good product for your Berta fish, but I had received a item that different from the picture. This cup design makes it hard to add the right amount of the medication for my betta.

Lifesaver!
The Beta Fix water additive was a real life saver for us. We had to make an emergency move with one of our fish into another tank, and this product made the transition so much smoother. It worked quickly, and the fish handled the move without any issues. It’s easy to use, effective, and gave us peace of mind in a stressful situation. Definitely something worth keeping on hand for any fish owner—you never know when you’ll need it.

Purchase the aquarium salt instead for FISH ROT...
New Betta fish owner here who was frantically looking for a cure for FIN ROT. My betta was extremely lethargic, breathing heavily, and their fins were withering away. A clean tank of water wasn't going to do the trick at that point so I saw a few youtube videos about this item and impulsively purchased it. The minute I added the drops I noticed my betta fish reacting negatively to it. He was already at the bottom of the tank showing signs of distress but the drops amplified those symptoms. I made the mistake of not choosing to filter the reviews to 'NEWEST' and that's when I saw the 1 star reviews. I couldn't fathom leaving him in there to suffer more so I immediately cleaned out his tank and purchased the API AQUARIUM SALT Freshwater Aquarium Salt. This worked so much better and my betta fish is now back to his old self. His fins are also growing back beautifully. I normally don't leave reviews but I want to help other betta owners (especially us newbies) to stray away from this item and purchase the aquarium salt for fin rot. Hope this helps and wishing you the best of luck!
