Disappointed to find these bags are self seal (like sandwich bags) NOT zip close as stated in description which is why I chose this seller. I know i could return them but I really want to start my new project with lots of threads so have decided to keep them They do stop threads tangling and clean protected from Dogs hairs so hopefully they'll save time in the longterm as I won't spend time cleaning the hairs from my threads and my project!

The perfect size for silks, thick reusable bags which is what I wanted as trying to cut my plastic usage down. We’ll wrap, arrive early

If you cross stitch, you NEED these. They don’t come with the rings but they are cheap on Amazon to get. I still have loads not in use in my cross stitch bag and I’m working on four projects.

Only problem is that I only received 90 bags and not the 100 bags as advertised, other than that the bags are as described

I buy these as a bit of an indulgent treat, as they are, in the end, just single-use self-seal poly bags with a handy hole punched for the ring(s), and a small write-on area - so you are paying a LOT for something you could probably put together yourself for much less. But they are just so handy to keep threads clean! Pretty obvious how they work, and I keep all my skeins of silk in them (I couldn’t justify using them for cotton floss, sadly).

I love these bags! I’ve been looking for a good storage system for all my skiens of cotton for ages. I don’t like the flat types you wind it around because not only are they a faff, but they leave the cotton all kinky which means it tangles more easily when used. These are the idea solution. Just shove the cotton in and seal! And the label on the front to write on the numbers is great. The only downside is that I needed more than 100 so had to buy more! Be aware that they don’t come with a ring so you have to buy that elsewhere. And they are really handy for putting other stuff in too, for example I’ve put a bunch of little beads in one, and some spare needles in another. All my craft stuff neatly stored away, labelled, and easily accessible! They did take quite a while to arrive though so be prepared for that.
