I was born a Christian, went to Christian schools as a youngster, and worship daily. I, however, was not understanding what a lot of the Bible was trying to say to me. What a joy to find Kathy Gifford's book. I have been intentionally waking up an hour early just to continue reading it. It is fascinating. I am so excited about what I am discovering that I read aloud to my partner who has a better understanding of the Bible and he, too, is finding it so informative. I told family and many people about it so they, too, can marvel at the historical information they will learn from reading this. She is very clear in here writing, takes a difficult subject to me, and it all seems to become crystal clear. I would not hesitate to recommend this book to anyone interested in learning more about the life of Jesus and the history behind some of the things that happened.

This is another wonderful book recommended to all. It is wonderful to have the scriptures explained from a Jewish perspective, and to understand why Jesus responded to people the way He did.

Finally a book which dares say and bring the evidence that the Bible translation is far from spot on: mistranslation leading to misinterpretation finally corrected thanks to the insight of natives who share their views: truly enlightening!It's about time we shift from Religion to Faith and stop thinking it has to be put in a box: Labels aren't the answer.A real page turner.

I cannot praise this book enough! She takes you on a journey of Israel that really brings the Holy City of Jerusalem and other places in Israel, along with the Bible, to life. And with additional insights written by a Messianic Jew, it makes understanding Jesus and the Bible possible. I read the Bible now with much more insight and understanding. Reading this book alongside Jonathan Cahn's books completely dovetail one another! Highly recommended!
