Very impressed with this product. It comes with a ton of additional tools so you can have the magnet work on any phone case, etc. The magnet is VERY strong for holding my new iPhone 15 Pro. The device sits well on my Macbook Pro 16". The part that hooks onto the screen isnt super snug, it wobbles around a bit. But the point is for my computer to be static as I have calls... so I am not expecting to be moving my computer while the mount is on... but if you do need to move it could be a problem. Overall this solved my need very well and the Continuity Camera on iPhone is awesome. Excited to use this more.

A decent iPhone mount for macbooks to allow using the phone's good quality camera as webcam.Pros:- it comes with a case- The magnet works well with iphone and magsafe compatible casesCons:- the "mount" on the laptop is a small lip. So a small bump to the desk tilted my phone over. I would prefer a padded clip for stability.- the case is not thick enough to hold the mount assembled. Every time you want to put it into the case, you will have to dissemble the mount, which is a hassle and could wear down the mount.After using the mount for a few days, I think the cons are quite important and hence knocked 2 stars off.

This is a nice flexible mount for use with Mac OS continuity (where the laptop can use the phone as if it were an attached camera/microphone). My laptop is in a shell that's a pain to remove, so I tried it out as a desktop stand, which I might be more likely to do on a regular basis since my Macbook is usually closed on my desk with external monitor and keyboard/trackball. It assembles quickly, works great with a magmount-friendly case, and is adjustable for different angles. It comes with an extra magnetic ring in case your phone doesn't have magnetic mount capability, and I'll admit I'm not entirely sure why you'd need the placement templates if your phone is already magnetic.I'll try to get the case off the laptop and try it out in its primary mode, but even for the secondary mode it works pretty well.It comes with a zipper case, although I think you have to remove the clip mount for it to fit nicely inside. It's easy enough to do, though, so that's fine.

This has to be by far the strongest MagSafe magnet I tested on an accessory. It even comes with free MagSafe stickers if your case or phone don’t support it.It’s relatively good value considering it even comes with a carrying case and magnets.I love how you can control the angles and stuff which you otherwise normally can’t with other types of these mounts.

Although it is mentioned in the sellers listing, "Using a laptop monitor protective case is not recommended", it should read, "It is not designed to be used with laptop monitor protective case".With that stated, it seems like it would have been designed to use with a protective case, why it wasn't is really a failure on the R&D team. The cover I use is a very thin protective case, which does not work with this mount. What a waste of time... Hence, to use this item, I will first need to remove the cover...Now, when using without the protective cover, it's so loose, any motion or movement of the laptop, once in place, will cause the phone to fall off the monitor. Once again, another failure on the R&D team...Overall, for the purpose of the order, it is a hassle to use it, being it does require more attention than what I'm willing to give it with my laptop...I do not recommend this item...

Absolutely love it! Works perfectly.

The media could not be loaded. The Plus:1. Super strong magnet. I have full confidence this is strong enough to keep my phone up.2. Comes with a sticker magnet incase your iphone doesn't have magsafe, and comes with templates to help you apply that sticker - super cool. I didn't use it, but that's really some foresight on their part. Premium thought to end consumer.The Negative:There is none that is real. The one I have is my fault - I bought this to use on my monitor to have this for my mac mini - but alas - THIS IS FOR THE MACBOOK PRO! So - while it works on my non-macbook laptop screen, it doesn't on my thicker monitor.I will be 3d printing a new mount for it, the magnet is still wonderful. But yeah - it would have been nice to have more options but clearly, I am asking for too much.5 stars.Another reviewer said that this thing falls off, and I just can’t see it. I’ve tested in my laptop, and it hangs on fine. Watch my video, I put the thing on the box with the phone on.But note: I don’t have a MacBook, which this is intended for. So take from that what you may.

This product works exactly as intended and with multiple phones so long as they have a good magnetic case on them. It is durable and never once caused any problems sitting on top of my mackbook pro. It lacks a bit of versatility as it really only works for laptops with thin lids so there are a few it likely wouldn't fit to, but it was designed for a macbook so that is pretty much to be expected. It can double as a simple phone stand if you prop it up so that helps.Considering the need I had for it when I got it this is definitely a great item and the price isn't bad at all.Would recommend fully for those using macbooks with the right phone.
