I have used this frequently for several years. I often have back issues but this thing helps out a ton. When my back is feeling pinched and I can't do much, I tell my husband I'm going to go "charge" my back. It often completely relieves the pinch so that I can get back to my projects. It is nice to be able to spray the pad to use a wet heat for relief, but I generally use it dry. I also use it on my feet sometimes when I am cold in bed. I love that it is big enough to tuck under my feet- it's soft and cozy and warms them up quickly. The pad is a great size and the cord is long enough I never need to use an extension. It is plush and cute. The cord, however, does pop off quite easily, especially when laying on top of the pad. The instructions do specifically state not to lay on top of it for precisely that reason. It's not so much of a problem for me that I have stopped laying on it. It does pop out easily but it's really not too bad, so the occasional time it becomes detached I just plug it back in. It's so fast at warming up that I don't even bother preheating while I'm getting ready to sit down with it. It's hot in under a minute. The controller display is unfortunately always on, when in use. It's bright so I have to flip it over. Its timer setting is a bit strange. Instead of just having options like 1 hour, 2 hour, it has modes 1-4. The instructions probably say how long each timer mode lasts but I never looked to see if it does. Even if it does, I'd just have to remember how long each mode will last. It would have been better to just have "30-minute" mode, "2-hour" mode, etc. I just keep it on the longest setting and turn it off when I'm finished. It gets hot enough that you probably shouldn't fall asleep with it as you might get a burn. However, I have never been burned, even when using the hottest setting. I bought one for my sister. She loves it just as much. Hers did burn out somehow. She said she was using it regularly when it suddenly burned out and stopped working. I reached out to the company and they immediately sent me a replacement for her. Any company that is willing to replace their product when something goes awry through normal use is a company worth supporting. I will be buying more of these pads for other family members, as well as checking out their other products. PRO'S: Large. Soft. Cozy. Hot in less than a minute. Long cord. Cute. Great customer service. CONS: Cord disconnects *somewhat* easily. Bright display always on when in use. Timer modes are unspecified amounts of time on controller. All cons are minor compared to benefits. Easily worth 5 stars.

This is a great heating pad and a good size for most needs. It’s larger than many others that are in the same price range. Pay attention to the size of others if you are considering different ones. I got this on one of the Prime Days, or one of the days it was on sale with a coupon or discount. For the price I paid it is an absolutely awesome product. I think it’s probably worth the normal price too, because I’ve tried others at big box and department stores and they are awful. It’s like the stores don’t care and just want to sell any heating pad that they can buy cheap and resell to their customers at a high price. I haven’t seen any heating pads in stores that are worth the box they come in. Key Points: 1. It does work well and actually gets HOT, like they did in the good old days. Be careful with elderly or those who can’t adjust on their own. It does have several settings so you can find a good setting for every need. 2. The control is EASY to adjust and easy to push, even for people who are weak or have trouble with their hands/fingers. Large numbers are easy to read for most anyone who can see decently. 3. It has a long enough cord, considering they try to keep things safe and within guidelines. 4. It has lasted for months so far. 5. It is soft and well padded. I also think it’s washable, but I haven’t tried that yet. 6. Seems well crafted/built. 7. Would buy again, especially at a discount.

Great Item !

This heating pad is almost perfect. The settings are great, heats up quickly and is very comfortable to lay on. The only negative is the design of the cord just me be one of the worst in the history of engineering. It is extremely clunky and tends to implug from the pad itself if you shift around too much. The length of the cord is fine, it’s the location of the control and where it hangs in relation to the pad that’s so awful. Do not be discouraged by this as it’s my subjective opinion, this heating pad is well worth the price.

My feet have poor circulation due to Type 2 Diabetes and are always cold if I’m not active. I’ve been using this heating pad on the floor in front of my chair in the living room to keep my feet warm and it has been wonderful. The material was easy to clean when my muddy-pawed pup walked all over it. The pad tags do not have any indication of how to wash, so I had to come back here and ask Rufus. Apparently, it is machine washable after removing the cord, but I just sprayed with a water/Shout solution and wiped with paper towels and it came clean as easily as a too-good-to-be-true infomercial product. When I first purchased the pad, I was under the impression that the 4 setting timer was 1, 2, 3, and 4 hours, but the settings are actually 30, 60, 90, 120 minutes, which is ok, just have to tap it back on or periodically hit the timer button to add more time. The pad fully heats up within a few minutes, but you can feel the warmth beginning almost immediately. Also, the size is perfect for my use. The cat loves it too.

This review is for Heating Pad XXL for Back/Neck/Shoulder Pain Relief and Cramps This was purchased to replace a worn out and partially shorted pad that was made of plastic. While the old pad delivered heat, that was about all it did. This pas is made of very soft, almost plush fabric and is large enough to cover the entire width of may back, from shoulders to waist. It has no hot spots and provides warmth and helps eliminate back pain. I use this in my home office while seated in a desk chair and it allows me to have the room temperature lower and still keeps me quite comfortable. The auto-shutoff is quite nice and prevents leaving the heating pad on all night if I get up and forget to turn it off. The control box plugs into the pad with a non-latching 24 inch long cord. Some reviewers have complained that it becomes unplugged too easily, but that has not been a problem for me unless I yank on the cord. To help prevent this, I applied a small piece of tape across the joint between the plug and receptacle on the heating pad. This makes it even harder to dislodge. If the pad becomes unplugged, the control box displays a "E" symbol to let yo know that it is unplugged. There are 6 heat levels, with 6 being very warm. The timer can be set in 30 minute increments up to 2 hours. Overall, I am really liking this upgrade and do not know why I waited so long to replace my old heating pad.

Update - 2nd follow up review. This company contacted me after I left my first one star review and offered to send me a replacement even though I had already received a refund from Amazon, after going back-and-forth for a while. I agree to accept it, not knowing that - that allows them to remove any bad reviews. Tricky behavior which I don’t appreciate. Anyhow, I received my second heating pad and it has the same problem. I literally timed it for one hour, and it turned off at 28 minutes left out of 60. I tried this multiple times over three days. Same result. So the first heating pad would not stay on for more than 10 minutes. The second heating pad won’t stay on more than 32 minutes. This is false advertising. Why, because they know about the malfunction and they continue to push it anyways and sell it and they refuse to communicate with people that are having a problem. So as I alluded to, once I let the manufacturer know this, they stopped all communication with me. I followed up with another message, and they ignored that message as well. They are very unprofessional, and I will make sure to never buy from them again, and I also reported them to Amazon directly for unethical behavior. Amazon is investigating now. Buyer beware. It is an attractive, pretty and soft heating pad, which attracts a lot of people. It did me but don’t be fooled. It is not good quality disappointedly and unfortunately. ——- 1st review This heating pad caught my attention because of the size and the fabric and upon arrival both were very satisfactory. It’s very soft and it is a large heating pad. The color in my opinion is also very appealing. Unfortunately, this pad is pretty much unusable because it keeps turning itself off after 5 to 10 minutes of use - repeatedly! Some sort of control issue apparently, but due to this, I had to ask for a refund and get a replacement from another manufacturer.
