A good product to thicken oil and add adhesion
Used this to thicken and add adhesion to my truck 15-40 oil for a chainsaw. Worked well enough that I do not feel the need for special chainsaw oil. Many other quality lubrication uses if grease is too thick and 3in1 is too thin.

Good Stuff - It's No Snake Oil
I always reccomend using STP for ZDDP antiwear additive, and a viscosity boost, super slippery yet it sticks to internal parts to kind of 'pad' mechanical surfaces, and reduces audible piston pin slap.

ZDDP for the win!
With the EPA clamping down on Zinc in our oils, engines are being subject to more wear than necessary. Particularly engines with flat tappet camshafts..So take control of your engine wear and put a jug of ZDDP into your crankcase with each oil change.
