Good value
I got this as a drop in replacement for the existing latch. As such I found that the tongue was slightly too long. Not a big problem. Substantial construction and good value

Looks good and comes with all the bits needed to install

Robust, easy to fit
This is much more robust than the typical gate latch. It needs to be fitted with both sides having a flat surface in order to fix the decorative plate correctly.

Did the job but why no screws included?
The latch is far more flimsy than expected so longevity is not a given but it wasn't very expensive and I needed something quickly. It does state that it's made of zinc which I took to mean it's galvanised beneath the black paint but I suspect it's just powder coat over steel and imminent rusting will confirm this. A big gripe, however, is that it didn't come with any fixing screws which was such a surprise that I checked the listing and, no, none supplied. I have a shed full of screws but the only size/style suitable were either nickel plated or galvanised which clash with the black of the latch. Not the worst latch for the money but I'm already looking for a replacement.
