I use this on the farm to pull semis or tractors that need "a budge." This rope is not cheap but it's extremely tough and is MUCH easier to lug around than a 1/2" chain (and much safer when it breaks). I also prefer the rope over a strap since it can be pulled through the loop easily if you don't have a clevis or way to attach the rope. I used mine so much that it began to fray in one spot and eventually broke -- while pulling on it with an 8 wheel tractor. I went to Rhino USA's website, filled out a warranty claim and submitted a picture and had a replacement rope in a few days. This company is legit. This rope is legit. Highly recommended.

Look at the picture. There is no banana for scale, but I've got big hands. Check out the size of this kinetic strap! This was expensive, but when I've got my Diesel truck with camper stuck, I want the best recovery product there is. After a lot of reading, I settled on Rhino. Everything about this is top quality. The attention to detail is good to see. For example, at the ends, where the rope is spliced back into itself, the taper is very well done. Cheaper product does not do that - just an abrupt step change. It makes a difference, and it is not something you would notice unless you knew enough to look for it. Now, a few things. This takes up a huge amount of room. It comes with a duffle bag, but this is going to make a serious dent in the storage space I have. It will also take a pair of good-sized shackles. I bought two soft shackles that should work well. No, I have not tested this yet, but I have used kinetic straps before, and I always wanted one. Now I own one of the best!

I bought this just before a trip to our camp last week mainly in case someone got stuck in the yard and I'd have to use my RWD truck to pull them out. That didn't happen but I got stuck by backing into a ditch instead of a driveway about 1/4 mile away. My friend pulled out my 3/4 ton truck loaded down with about 2,000 lbs. of gear using his 1/2 ton Ram pickup and just a bit of momentum and snatched it out before I even gave it the gas on the first attempt. He had to pull it mostly sideways pulling it so hard that it bent the recovery hook on the truck but the big rope just got it done and is ready for the next pull. It was my first time not using a chain but instead this sort of thing and it's 1/2" soft shackle and I'm now a fan! I noticed at night that it has reflective threads weaved into it for safety as well. It's high quality and that's what you need when you're stuck at night.

Unfortunately I haven't gotten to use this rope yet, but I have no doubts about its capabilities! Recently over the new years holiday I got my diesel pusher motorhome stuck while leaving camp at the glamis sand dunes in California. A friend that we were camped with used the very same 1.25" rope he owned to get me unstuck and back on the road! I had my doubts at first, only to be thoroughly impressed by this things capabilities! My motorhome weighs in at 28 thousand pounds. My friend drives a bone stock gas powered 4x4 f350! 1 tug with this rope was all it took to get me out of my predicament! Before we left I told my wife figure out what that thing is and order one right now I don't care what it costs. I explained to her even if we buy one and never use it that it's already paid for itself 10 fold because of the money saved by not calling a wrecker!
