Good lamps, quick charging, long-lasting light - remote version is overpriced though
I bought both versions of this lamp - the cheaper and lighter lamp without the remote, and the much heavier and more expensive lamp with the remote, so I'm reviewing them both. They both arrived quickly with secure packaging which was easy to remove (no excessive packaging,) and both lamp versions were very easy and quick to set up. I use them with all four poles attached as floor lamps. They're sturdy on both my hard floor as well as on my short-piled carpet. The lamp without the remote is lightweight, easy to lift, carry, and move. They're extremely useful for power cuts or for places where corded lamps can't reach.I use them on the warm light setting and not too bright, and it lasts for hours and hours (sometimes two entire evenings and into the early hours of the morning on this setting,) before needing recharging. Both lamps conveniently have USB-C input ports for fast recharging, and both lamps arrived with USB-C charging cables that are both over 1 metre each in length.I later bought the lamp version with the useful and remote as I sometimes have severe back problems and struggle to move. The lamp with the remote is a heavier and bulkier design that's not as easy to lift and move around, but it's weight and sturdiness also means it's less likely to be knocked over that the lighter lamp version without the remote. The lamp with the remote has uninformative, vague, and slightly unclear instructions on a single sheet of paper, but I found it relatively simple to figure it out myself. The remote is very lightweight.I think the remote version is heavily overpriced for what it is compared to the much lighter and much cheaper lamp without the remote. Both lamp versions (with and without the remote) omit about the same amount of light beam for about the same amount of time, and they both have about the same amount of charging time too.

Good lighting and easy to use.
It was easy to fit together and is easy to use. Just tap the top and the light comes on and tap it again for a choice of cool or warm lighting. I like how it takes up very little room as I don't have much space. Great for reading as you can adjust the lamp with its flexible neck. Also I find it most useful having a rechargeable battery so it can be used anywhere. Charge lasts ages and can still be used while it's plugged in. Overall I'm pleased with it and a reasonable price too.

Beautiful
We bought this for our small living room, doesn't occupies much space. It a lovely lamp with three different light tones- warm, cool and medium. The lamp shade has a patchy design that looks elegant when lighted. It was easy to install. The only difficulty I found is it has three rods that need to be put together. You tighten one and the other get loose. Then i started to tighten from top to bottom which worked. There might be quicker way of doing it.

Complete with bulb
Nice lamp and mainly easy to put together, problem part is fitting the shade on but after finding the videoon the web site went together fine and looks good in the lounge. Good brightness adjustment as well so far pleased.

Shade impossible to assemble
The lamp is ok BUT the shade was impossible to assemble even after trying for 40 minutesNot sure if it’s the right shade for this product because it looks very small

excellent reading lamp
I had it assembled in five minutes, a very simple job. Being battery operated, it can be placed at any convenient position so that the light goes where it's needed. The small base helps positioning. No battery charger is supplied. It comes with a USB type "C" cable which can be used with a phone/tablet charger. It does take quite a while to trickle charge but we have found the charge lasts quite well.We find it useful to cast extra light in slightly dim places instead of having to use the main room lights. We're very pleased with our purchase and are happy to recommend it.

Arrived broken
Light was packed very well in the manufacturers packaging but it arrived in a larger amazon box with other items i'd ordered. Amazon had really let themselves down at their Miltonkenes packaging depot. The items were put in an inappropriate box for delivery and the amazon box arrived sqaushed and badly torn causing concerns for the electrical items purchased inside.Assembly of the light was very poor. One section of the wiring is attached to the base and another attached to the top of the light unit, you have to attach the longest length of the wiring to the wire inside the base unit. This isn't difficult but i wasn't very happy with the way the wiring was secured together and certainly wouldn't have wanted to leave the light unattended when in use.You then have to feed the middle wire through the poles which is ok but the wire kept catching on the ends of each pole as I fed it through. This concerned me because once fed through it had to be attached to the top wire which was connected to the lamp part of the light, i was worried about the wire getting damaged as i fed it through and the potential for it becoming a future fire risk.As mentioned in other reviews connecting the long piece of wire to the top part is not easy to do. I had to pull the long section tight to get sufficient grip to attach it to the top section. You then find you have a surplus of about 1cm wire longer than the two tubes you have to screw together. I followed all the instructions and the light wouldn't charge or show any sign of lighting up. I disconnected the tubes and top part of the wire to ensure the wire connected to the base hadn't come loose and everything appeared fine. The light may have been damaged in transit and I was disappointed as I had bought 3 in total. One for myself, one for my elderly parents and one for my elderly neighbour. I had thought these would be safer for them than candles in the event that we do have power cuts this winter but I didn't set up the other 2 lights as I was unhappy with the way the wiring connected and the safety implications so returned them unopenned.
