However, when I received the pair this time around, the design had changed. While the toe box was still wide, the midfoot seemed more narrow than the older version and there had been padding added to the heel cup making the shoe too short and too narrow for me in the same size as what I had ordered a year ago. I removed the insole which made the shoe more comfortable, but it did not address the "too short" aspect. I'm sure if I reordered the shoe in the next size up, it would address my issues with the current version, however, I'm not a big fan of the padding in the heel cup. I will say that if you are new to the world of barefoot / minimalist shoes, this brand / this shoe is great gateway into it due to it's affordability and comfort; just be sure to go up one size from what their sizing chart says you should get. For example, in most shoe brands I wear a 10-10.5, but based on their sizing chart I bought a 9.5 previously (which fit perfectly), but the 9.5 with the newer design that has the padded heel cup is too short for me. Hope this helps!

I’ve had these shoes for a few months now, and found that that are great for a casual shoe, however being a flat barefoot shoe I found I cannot stand in them for a long period of time. So depending on your purpose for the shoes might determine if you want them.

They feel good, they are light and feel breathable. width is comfortable but I just wish they came in a half size shorter.

Just what i wanted for working out in weight room. Not bad considering low cost.
