The superking version covers a superking mattress. Corner to corner, head to toe, edge to edge. With four corner straps to keep it in place. So many rivals look like a 'napkin in the middle of the bed' that you'd be forgiven for imagining the edges of the mattress were places it was prohibited to sleep! So this gets full marks for being faithful in size to your bed. I'd imagine the other sizes are equally well proportioned.It's dual zone controls lets each person get the temperature desired. Accurate adjustment, no sign of a 'sliding' type of control where you are never certain to be able to select the exact same degree of warmth twice. The controllers on this are electronic and you can select anything from subtle background warmth, right up to toasty heat. The timer function is incredibly useful if you only want your first hour in bed to be supplementary heated (although the timer allows for an entire human sleep cycle too, and then a little more if a long lie-in happens to be your thing.)Installed under a cotton mattress protector, and a fitted brushed cotton sheet, you don't even 'feel' the heat elements (so you aren't going to wake up like the princess rumoured to have slept with a dried pea under all her mattresses!)

I have a very expensive heated blanket on my own bed, I'll be honest that I just sleep so much better with them, out like a light. So we wanted a more cost effective solution for my daughter's when we stay. I'll be honest this one with dual controls was a quarter of the price then my home one, but it is superb and very effective. Simple fit with 4 bands that go over the corner of the mattress, then plug in both heat controllers set your timer and heat level and that's it. You cannot feel the wires through it and I slept soundly in it every night. The heat does not extend quite to the bottom but that's a minor caveat.

Excellent must have for winter

Bought this as Christmas gift for my daughter. By February only half the blanket heated up. Sent an email to supplier who hasn't had the decency to reply. Needless to say shall not be ordering from this company again

I can't think what more you would want from an electric blanket. It has smart high quality digital handsets which are accurate and easy to use. it heats up quickly has effective securing straps to go round the mattress and is the only one I have come across that truly covers the whole mattress compared to others which leave a 10cm gap all round the bed. I have had electric blankets they were 3 X the price of this one and we're definitely no better.

Full single bed size, and a great price, but only gripe is it doesn't get as warm as I would like.
