I haven't had one issue with this product since I've started using it and have found it very easy and actually nice to use , it has a nice wide base so you can set it down with flame on and not have to worry about it falling over unless knocked over intentionally by or something silly like that I don't think you will have to much of a problem with keeping it stood up, that being I don't really recommend standing it up with the flame on unless your in a proper work space with a reasonable need to do so. It feels very sturdy and robust and holds a good but of butane which is nice , although when in use with flame cranked up it does obviously run out a lot faster then normally but if used on a moderate flame setting it lasts for quite awhile. I highly recommend for the price , durability and overall performance of the torch it's very hard to beat.

This feels really sturdy, hefty, and premium. The copper vintage design is also a really nice touch. I had other models before and they sometimes require few clicks to actually ignite them, I found this one to be very reliable, and always ignites with a single click. You can adjust the strength of the flame, however it doesn't allow for adjusting between soft and spit fire, which is not a big deal for me anyway. Excellent product overall.

Ordered first one and it worked perfectly for three months. Very well made, heavy, durable...very happy with it! Unfortunately the piezo igniter failed. So it couldn't spark or ignite. This is something that happens with all brands I've found. The igniter is a failure point. However when I Contacted FunOwlet support they immediately helped and guided me to getting the replacement quickly. This is where they stand out from other brands. They want to help! I’ve owned a handful of different torches over the years. I was really excited when I received this one as the quality felt nice and the flame was large and easy to light. Usually if I have issues with a torch, it’s because it simply won’t hold butane anymore. After about 2-3 months of very light use, the spark function no longer works. The only way to light it is with another flame at this point. I hope there is a warranty of some kind, if so I will update my review.

This thing is a mini-beast. It's perfect for the kitchen, not to bulky, not to small but with blazing flame. It's is built extremely solid, all brass. It's got a great weight to it so it definitely doesn't feel cheap. It holds plenty of fuel also. I have owned a bunch of these and this one blows them away BUT....... Here is what takes this torch from litterally10 stars to 4. The gas valve knob/dial is dangerous. You litterally only need to move the knob1/8 of an inch and the gas is blowing out quite a bit. WHY?? If it just had a click on the valve knob so you can hear and feel that it's closed or open I could care less about the little movement but with only needing to barely brush the valve knob and the gas comes on you would like to have to move the valve at least a 1/4 of an inch or more before hearing the gas. It's mind blowing because there is plenty of movement on the knob/dial to where it could of been set up to have to turn the dial at least a quater to even half turn before the gas comes on.🤔 I would never let a child use this thing. It's just way to dangerous but I'm extremely cautious. Honestly if my return window is still open I'm returning it because my wife will not use it. She is scared of it. This is such a shame because it is by far the nicest torch I have ever bought especially for the price. Such a bummer when something is built with such great quality and care but the most important part gets looked over. No attention to detail.😫🤔 A total BUMMER! Now if you are careful and know what you are doing then don't be afraid because it is an awesome torch. **Also maybe mine is one that got set up wrong from the factory**. With the amazing return policy from Amazon you can't go wrong trying one out for 30 days. Hopefully I got a somewhat sensitive torch and all others will be set up better. Good Luck

When I first opened this, I couldn't believe how solid it felt. This thing is made all of metal, and feels very sturdy in your hands. The look of it has the steampunk sort of vibe, but doesn't look chinsy. Everything on this looks like it was designed very well, as there are no edges that are sharp, or things that many times you find show lower quality in an item. Item. This is definitely the nicest hand torch i've used. It was easy to fill with a butane refill can and worked right out of the box without having to figure anything out. It just works. I would definitely recommend this.

Started leaking gas out of a seam becoming a fire/explosion hazard. Update: the company has sent a replacement. Tested and it seems to be working perfect without any leak.

Great little torch. I bought this to replace an old one that I had which was very similar and I'm glad I found one that had the same properties. Nice tight valve so you'll get long use out of it, easy ignition, huge flame or tiny it'll serve your purpose. Highly recommended!
