401927 LIVEN Drop-in or Undermount Laundry Sink, 25" L x 22" W x 12" D, White

We absolutely love the sink, the color, the material, the way it cleans, everything. The only reason I am marking this down is the installation process. We measured the sink we removed and the measurements of the Blanco sink matched, however, the underside of the Blanco sink has clip attachment points, and a beveled lip around the circumference of this particular sink. The cutout for the previous sink was not big enough despite the sink dimensions matching. I had to cut the granite in place, spend three hours cleaning the laundry room, then pressing on with the sink install. I don’t like to mark down for that BC I think the cutout measurement is out there, and I missed it prior to install. Other than all that, we love the sink. 😊

First one I ordered was from a different site and it was broken. I have been told that you should inspect as soon as you receive the sink. The one from Amazon was perfect, nice size for a laundry tub!

We were so excited to receive this sink! The box appeared to be intact when we received it, so we left it packaged believing it would be most secure in the original box. By the time our counters were being installed, the contractor pulled the sink out of the box only to discover three cracks in the sink. The return window was tiny, and our counters were already measured to fit this sink. We are now stuck with either a cracked sink, or buying a new sink to replace the new sink. Beyond disappointing!!

Seems to be made of excellent (solid surface) type of material as Corian. Very beautiful sink. Will see how it holds up. Seems a bit sensitive to straight bleach for cleaning and some other abrasive chemicals are a no-no. Manuf specs stated not to wash paint in the sink (ugh....does that mean all paint). So that is why I gave it 4 stars. Product was shipped in excellent condition, easy to install and great thickness to mount a single handle faucet. Should be a 5 for scratch resistance, but being a bit cautious here. VERY PLEASED WITH THIS PURCHASE!!! Won't be able to give it a true rating for several months though.

Second sink was delivered as promised. This time, the packaging was a little damaged but the sink was in perfect shape - go figure. I really like it. The materials are very good, quality is good, cleaver design for securing it to the counter top. No issues at all. Looks great. I only wish they were not so prone to cracks prior to installing.

Missing drain

When we remodeled our kitchen 10 years ago, I bought a Blanco sink and it still looks as good as the day it was installed. So when we decided to update our laundry room, I purchased another another Blanco sink. It is doesn’t water spot or scratch and is easy to clean. I use Method Granite spray polish on it occasionally to keep the velvet look.

Update: from 5 stars to 4 stars - We got it installed and all is good but the backside of it, as you can see from the pictures, has some weird haze we can’t get off. It did this after only a few uses and were baffled. I would expect it to look like this maybe five years after use but not just a few months. We don’t even wash our paint brushes or anything like that in it anymore (only did that a few times) even though it’s the laundry room sink, we now use the kitchen sink which is stainless and easier to clean. I wish I would’ve just gotten a stainless one for the laundry room. I’m trying to research and figure out how to get the haze off especially because it’s the first thing you see when you walk by. Even though it’s just the laundry room it is also our main point of entry and exit to the garage door. Original review: This is a really nice sink especially for a laundry room. I’m tired of seeing white especially when we’re constantly rinsing out paint brushes it always looks stained up all the time. We have not installed this yet - it came a little bit cracked on the top so we will put some silicone on the backside of it and then some brown silicone on top and blend it in. It shouldn’t leak because it’s on the top corner and it’s barely visible. Amazon gave us a little bit of a credit for that so we are OK with it.
