A nice selection of zipper parts. The pliers were useless so I had to use my own tools.

I bought this to repair the zipper on my boyfriend’s $200 jacket, instead of having to throw it away. The product worked great and it was easy to use. They’re good quality and not cheaply made, so they look nice on the jacket. Can’t even tell the zipper was ever broken, which is great.

Thus far it's been a struggle to fix two different jackets with different size zippers with this kit and get them to function properly. It could be user error, I'm by no means an expert, but it also doesn't seem like these are sized *quite* the same as the standard ykk zippers but a little small (yet the pulls are over sized). Overall IF I can figure out how to better apply the kit so that the zippers insert and pull smoothly then it would be a solid kit for the money. I'm keeping for now to try again on another jacket

Repaired two of my vests, one had no zipper head, the other had broken zipper head (no tongue)in less than 30 minutes.Does require two tools:1: Small needle nose pliers.2. Small flush head snippier.PS. Got these cheap tools at harbor freight a couple years ago.

The slider is so tight that it's very difficult to slide up and down. The zipper tab won't go easily to the slider too, and if it does the slider won't close up the zipper and this is being done by the right size slider. I tried the next size bigger too and it's the same thing. It takes me more than half an hour to try to make it work but it's worthless. I returned it. Not recommended.

Gotta keep stocked

Bought these to replace a zip pull that broke off. There are three types of zips to match the major types. Be sure to use the one that looks like what you are replacing. The wrong shape didn't fit at all. The trouble is the top stops were useless. Too small to stop the wider zip at all so it slid right off the top. Trying to figure out a better way. I'm thinking a #10 stopper might work.
