Mike holt is the way when it comes to the Electrical code! Bought these books a few weeks before I tested for Journeyman in MN (2024). Passed first attempt. Make sure to take your time, and do ALL the practice problems in the first book. It’s where you’ll be 90% of the time. Second book had a few sections you can skim over, but is still full of useful information, Color infographics and detailed explanations. If you have any struggles when it comes to comprehending the NEC, this book will help you immensely.

I recently started studying for the National Electrical Code (NEC). Mike Holt's training material is the best available. It has color pictures illustrating pretty much all of the code sections.
