Good Value, No Frills Option for Light Use
Installed in Asus Prime Z890-P WiFi motherboard with Intel Core 7 Ultra 265k with no issues. Wanted a basic cooling solution for a new build, no over-clocking therefore this budget fan does the job. Good value considering my needs.

Weird experience
The media could not be loaded. Bought 2 of these one for a ryzen 5 5600 and 7600. both had exact same installation so i expected no issues. First installed the 5600 with no issues it cools it real nicely and runs quiet. Then i went ahead and started to install it in the 7600. While screwing down the heat sink, one side would be to far in so when i went ahead and tried to screw it down one side would pop off and require me to align it again. i would do one turn at a time then alternate as that's the best method when installing coolers. Despite only turning the screw one time it wouldn't allow me to screw in the other side since it would be to high up. from what it seems to me the 2 screws used to mount onto the motherboard threaded themselves too far making them shorter then expected. so after struggling with that i finally managed to install it after aligned both screw by pressing each side individually and screwing ever so slightly one one side and hoping it wouldn't miss-align. i finally got both sides screwed and was able to screw it down normally. after it was installed i decided to stress test the cpu the same way i tested the 5600(5600 ran at 70c at full load and would sit mid to low 60s while gaming). on the other hand the 7600 would sit at around 90c at max load. and that was with a -30 curve from the bios(under volt). i thought something was wrong since the cpu was cooled pretty nicely from other reviews. im left wondering weather i have a hot CPU or the cooler has something to do with it. i even purchased an am5 contact frame which did lowere temps by 5 but still had the cpu running at 85c. Temps on the 7600 would idle at the high 50s and any task like opening a new tab or launching a new video temps would rise to 60. after everything i decided to remove the cooler to see if the thermal paste was the issue but it was applied evenly. i did notice that the copper plate had scratches on the 2 sides that were giving me issues during installation. and these scratches were very visible and harsh. i looked online and it says it should be fine but i dont know if the scratches people would mention were as bad as mines. After cleaning all the previous thermal paste i used the last remaining that came with the tube, Painstakingly having to reinstall it again with all the issues it gave me the last 2 times and tested it again . same temps only thing that helped was the contact frame which was not apart of the cooler itself. I didn't take any pictures of the scratches but i don't want to have to deal with all the hassle again of installation, and i have no more thermal paste left. now im left wondering if i should return it for a refund as i have 5 days left to or hope that the scratches are fine and be happy with 85c temps with an under volt on a 65watt tdp CPU. i will say this pc is meant for gaming and during my gaming test it would sit around the mid to high 70s which is acceptable, but that's about the only thing that i was glad gave me no issues. In summary installation on one CPU was fine and temps were good(ryzen 5 5600) but on a newer faster cpu (same tdp) it gave me a whole plethora of issues. Not sure how i should feel about it . I would love some support, replacement, refund, etc. recommend for a gaming system ryzen 5000 and below but any higher? not so sure.
