They increased is size and held their size and shape for longer than some other brands Ive used. TIP: test a very small amount - 1/2 tsp in a larger bowl to check for your projects actual amount needed for post absorption quantity! I also tested these with water colored w simple food coloring and got a great subtle hint of color! Will definitely order these again!

It is as describes. I let it grow overnight and you definitely need more volume of a container than you'd think to grow these, it multiplies in exponential volume. Although for my purposes (see picture), I'd prefer to use pearl strings to achieve the same look that I was going for - the small vase has the water beads + colored beads whereas the taller ones have just pearl strings in them. but none the less it works.

These start out so small. Once I added water, they more than tripled in size. I thought I wouldn't have enough for the baby shower games but it was way more than enough. So don't dump the entire bag in water. You'll end up with a garbage bag full. They stayed in a garage bag for several days and still held their size. Quality product. Inexpensive. I have to say you definitely get plenty for your money, I was doing a test run for my wedding centerpieces and only used a small portion of the bag, it says to let them blow up for up to 8 hours but I didn’t even let them sit that long, I really just wanted to get an idea of what they would look like inside of my mason jars with my flowers in them! They look amazing, very easy to use and there is no clean up, however if you don’t use a large enough container you will have to continue adding water to get them to continue getting larger, but that’s what the test run was all about, the night before the wedding I will be soaking them in a large plastic container bc I did end up purchasing another pack, though there was plenty in one bag I wanted to make sure I had enough to fill all 10 or 12 jars that I am going to be using for my wedding. They are fun to make and very easy to use. They feel of them in your hand is strange because it’s like they are wet but really they aren’t, I am using them just as they are I will not be adding water or pearls for that floating look however I do think that would be pretty cute as well but since we are adding fairy lights inside our jars and you can’t get the battery pack wet I am having to tape the little battery pack on the inside of the mason jar lid.

This product makes a ton of water beads and I only used less than a teaspoon. The beads are smaller than the size of a marble, which I was a little surprised about because I thought they’d be bigger but they work fine. I used mine for some craft projects. It stores well in a sealed container. I would recommend starting off using a small amount of the dry breads because it will make a lot!

First, I have no idea how they count these tiny beads, but I do know that we were able to fill a gallon-sized zip bag with just one tablespoon of beads and four cups of water. This was more than enough to create the vase decorations shown in my pictures. We used a dime as a reference for the size of the gel beads before and after they expanded. These beads are versatile; they can be used for vase decorations, as part of the soil for plants, and for sensory play with children (please monitor children closely, as they pose a hazard if ingested). My favorite color is clear because, when you add water, the beads become almost invisible, making it appear as though your vase fillers are floating. Fully expanded within 4 hours and lasts a very long time (10 days so far). Used food coloring to put some color in. Yes, a little goes a long way: 1/2 teaspoon dry beads = 1 cup expanded!
