Walking along the avenue
My father in law needed a new walker. He needed one that was tall enough, light in weight, and easy to transport. We chose this Stander EZ Fold-N-Go Walker Lite w/Wheels as it appeared to check off all of the boxes.Once we received it we were impressed by the sturdiness and the great craftsmanship. Assembly was simple and easy to do. All we had to do was install the wheels which bolted in place with the provided allen wrenches. We also had to insert the handles and slide on the carrying bag all of which took less than 10 minutes. We adjusted the height to fit him and one thing that he really liked was that he didn't have to lean forward on it to move it. He could just stand up and walk. Opening it and closing it for transport was simple. You just reach into the center of it and pull the indicated ring which will collapse it or press it down and it will lock it in place and keep it open. It is much lighter in weight than his old walker by far. There are a couple of things that would have made this the perfect walker. One being the fact that the wheels in front are in a fixed position and do not have a good turning radius as you have to pick up the walker and redirect it to move in another direction. If they would just swivel in a 360 degree angle that would be a remarkable improvement. Another thing that is of a safety concern is that when he grabs on to the walker to use it to help him stand sometimes it slides as there is no way to lock the wheels down. His old walker has wheel locks on them which are operated by him on the handle which makes it convenient and safe. The walker has some great plusses to it but it needs a bit of refinement to it as we previously listed.

16-3/8" between the handgrips, stands on it's own when folded
12-20-23 This arrives mostly assembled, all you'll be doing is placing the adjustable height hand grips, the mesh bag and bolting on the wheels with the included hand tools. It took me a total of about 10 minutes. I'm using this with my mom for outings, its much more compact deploys or collapes in seconds. When folded, its about the size of a camping chair or umbrella stroller making it easier to stow, than a traditional walker. It will also stand on its own in the folded position. It's stable, but a bit narrow between the hand grips. The width between the hand grips is 16-3/8", then account for space lost where your hands/thumbs grasp. It would be better for a thinner person and not so great for plumper ones, as you can't step in between the hand grips without getting caught on the very grippy hand grips, if you even fit at all. I placed some electrical tape on the ends to help with clothing getting caught, but it's still too narrow to not disrupt her normal gait. It's lightweight at roughly 6lbs, folds up smaller than any others I've been able to find, study and stable. All the wear and tear parts are replaceable, and by the way if you ever need to contact the folks at Stander in Utah they are professional patient and wonderful to deal with. I consider it 5 stars for what it is, and recommend it for traveling, outings and even works great in restaurants since it folds up so small. Hopefully they change the listing to show the dimensions between the handles, so no one else thinks it's 23" as I did.Hopefully My written in photograph reviews are helpful, Thank you!

Lightweight, portable and easy to assemble
As a family caregiver, this collapsible walker is terrific! My father uses both a wheelchair and the standard type walker at home and at medical appointments. We ordered this walker because of its portability and light weight.Assembly was super easy because the main frame is already assembled. All I had to assemble to the main frame was the two handles and the two front wheels. The handles are attached via the screw-on knobs. The wheels are attached per this order: inserting the long bolt-washer-bushing-black wheel-washer-walker leg and small bolt (had blue Loctite). You tighten the small bolt with the tools provided (small and large Allen wrench). The wheels do not swivel 360 degrees.Performance of this walker is very good.1. To open the walker, you pull the handles apart horizontally. Then, you lock the walker by pushing down on locking bracket (on center and labeled).2. To close the walker, you pull up the locking bracket to initiate and then you push the handles together (horizontally).3. There are five adjustment holes on each handle. I selected the desired height and locked it in place with the screw-on knob.4. When in use, the walker moves easily because of the combination of the front wheels and the rear gliders. Because I have wood floors, I purchased glider covers to protect the floors. This is a quality product. The main frame and handles are aluminum. The rear gliders are durable molded plastic (2-1/2 inches long by 1-3/8 inches wide). The handles have thick rubber for a good grip.Overall, my parent likes using this walker because it moves easily and we can transport it to medical appointments easily. As a caregiver, I love the portability and ease of use. It is lightweight and compact for taking on trips and storing at home.

Very sturdy
Excellent construction and really strong. The hand grips are well-padded, and it feels like the whole thing weighs about eight pounds. My mom would have loved it.
