After watching the AHG video on Youtube, instalation was straightforward except for the scrims. Despite what the video says, new scrims are supplied and I found it a bit fiddlty to install them. I washed out the old scrims and they are now pristine so I could have reinstalled them instead.My phones are about four years old and there was a surprising amount of ear wax and hairs stuck to the tranducer diaphragms which needed a careful brushing off .

Comfortable, but ruined Soundstage
These removed a fair bit of Sound-Stage from the HD800 used for these. They are comfortable though.Just buy the originals of you can. Not worth.
