I needed to find some 16g speaker cable for an install in my truck and came across this speaker cable. It was a newer item on Amazon and had no reviews at the time of my purchase but I decided to order it since it was cheaper than others. I wasn’t sure of the quality of it but after receiving it I must say I made the right decision. 100’ gives me plenty to use for my front speakers. The separate colors helps to keep the polarity correct without second guessing. The quality of cable is excellent. The insulation is plenty thick for protection but not too thick as it was easy to pull through the door jamb boot and it strips perfectly. The copper wire seems to be actually 16g and the sound quality is crystal clear. Very impressed by the quality at this price. Definitely recommend using this wire.

Very good wire, nice flexible and durable silicone insulation. Wire gauge seems correct, multi strand pure copper which is not super thin and not too thick so it’s flexible without being flimsy or stiff which made stripping and soldering easier. Very satisfied with the product and the price, this product is nicer than the more expensive stuff I’ve used in the past. Would recommend and would buy again.

I bought this wondering how it would be because it was so inexpensive but actually it’s great wire. It’s very flexible with a high-quality silicone sheathing and it does look like it’s true to gauge all in all great deal. The color is also pretty cool.

Read reviews and suspected it to be under-sized, so I broke out the micrometer, and it is. Claimed is 66 strands of 0.12mm (which is not on the AWG scale), for a real world effective AWG of 18.421. Actually measured, I get 0.114mm (0.0045"), which is 37 AWG, which is effectively 18.932. Looks like they rounded up 0.114 to 0.12, which is not how math works. Also calling this "16-18 AWG" is not how AWG works - you can be over, not under, and there is no such thing as a range, it is what it is. This is 19 AWG, full stop. Other than that discrepancy, nice and slinky wire with an attractive jacket. I have no means of testing copper purity.

The best priced pure copper wiring for speakers I found. Works very well. Jacket rubber isn't overly large and worked very well in standard wire strippers.

I've been doing custom car audio for over 30 yrs, and I've used hundreds of different brands of wire. This is as good as any of the top name brands that I've ever used. It's soft to the touch, easy to strip, easy to soldier, it's really good stuff. I keep the 16awg on hand and use it all the time. Well worth the money.
