CTI Mission Knee Brace for ACL, MCL, LCL, PCL or combined instabilities (Right-Medium)

I dislocated my knee and I ride horses so this is the ONLY knee brake that doesn’t scratch up my saddles and it fits amazingly!

I was going to have to pay $1000+ for this years model through my brace rep. She confirmed this is spot on to what I need and the price is amazing! I decided to not do ACL surgery and wanted a brace for surfing. CTI offers non corrosive materials, which is ideal for what I need! Took a few times to find the right spot and how to secure it. Love the quick release straps on the top and bottom. Recommend!

Kept my knee in place, it does tend to slip down as the day goes on.

It did not fit properly even after following their measurements. The middle section of the brace was pressing hard against the side of my knee. This is probably a brace to be used for sports unless it really fits you well. Good luck with that.

This brace must snug (not squishing) against the size of your knee, aka the condyles. I was on the edge, thought about going bigger but am very happy I went smaller. The Ossur videos on fit are clear the knee hinges must hug your knee such that the brace doesn't slip down when only the hinges (no straps) are on. Diagnosis: severed ACL, lateral tibial head compression fracture. Prognosis: no surgery due to degenerating knee (little arthritis, prior injury crushed meniscus), #1 heal the compression fracture and bone bruise, #2 build ROM and muscle. Brace used during bone healing was Amazon Futuro (3M) hinged and a cane. This appears to be an older model Ossur cti3 and I am very happy I got it on Amazon for less than half the price of the current models. It gives me some confidence at the dojo as I strengthen all the heretofore invisible muscles needed to live without the ACL - yes, many people apparently do! Con: no condyle pad replacements available for the CTI Mission. I intend to just use thick neoprene and cut it to fit. The Ossur human-like hinge is a bit hard to find, but is still available, as it's not made any more for this brace.

I had a custom cti2 made by Ossur years ago. Recently, it was lost in the mail. I need the brace for an upcoming hike, so I couldn't wait for a custom made one again. So, I purchased this cti by ossur and I'm amazed. It fits better than the custom one by a long shot. It's not as streamlined and the range isn't full, but that could be my adjustment.... but I don't care. I paid $900 for the custom over 20 years ago versus 200 for this and it's better? Note...I think the custom ones are just sized like this one. When you measure your knee and you are only an inch or 2 over a size, stay at the lower size. I think that's why my custom brace never fit right. This is impressive!
