Good pedometer for seniors
As a senior, I did not want to invest several hundred dollars in a fitness watch, fearing that my quest would turn out to be just another fitness whim. But I have persevered, and I am happy with this very affordable watch/pedometer. It is large enough to read the numbers without having to find my glasses, too. My only complaint is that it seems to be set on California time and I live in Chicago. Can't find any instructions on how to fix that. Anyone have any ideas?

Exactly what I wanted
It’s only been a few days, but it seems to be working fine. Looks good. Fits. I’m happy.

I really like this watch
This watch gets about 50% bad reviews, particularly when it comes to accuracy of steps. So it took me a long time to order it because I wasn't sure. Now that I have it, I really like it and it seems to be quite accurate in my case. I didn't do a lot of sophisticated testing but I walked X many steps and the watch showed approximately the same amount of steps. I did that three or four times and was satisfied. I found the instructions somewhat confusing and the video goes so fast I had to replay it several times. I finally have it set correctly for the main screen and I just don't plan to use it for the additional functions in fear of messing up the main screen. Some people have talked about it not being the right time zone for them and I had to mess with the time but I just kept it pressed until it showed the right a.m. or p.m. time. There is no time zone specifically to select. The only reason I didn't give a five stars is because I haven't had it long enough to see if it will keep its step accuracy or if it just up and fails one day. Right now, I'm very happy with it.

DEFECTIVE PEDOMETER
I had to return the item because the band was defective. I returned it through a Whole Foods store, and even received an email informing me that the item had been returned and that the charge had been recredited. However, the credit DID NOT show up on my credit card bill, and the bank says it needs 60 days to investigate the matter! WHAT A BUNCH OF GARBAGE!!!

It just plain (and that’s exactly what I wanted) BUT IT FAILS WITHIN 14 MONTHS
I needed a non smart device watch pedometer out of the 1970’s -1980’s because I work in a place where for all kinds of security issues "Smart" anything is not allowed. So what happened?Since 12/23 it worked fine.Though I was off put by the fact that I had to watch "elder influencers" tell me via a YouTube Video on to set it.Then one day on 2/19/2025 all hell broke loose.Display went bonkers. So I took it to my local watch repair shop who dutifully replaced the battery in under ten minutes as I watched. And for a little more money put a new watchband on the Hearkent Pedometer watch. No matter what we did, no way could we get it to set up and sho the correct time.Meanwhile my backup off brand "Q&Q" electronic watch bought at the Dollar Store as a returned item for $9.99, plus tax in 2015 still runs through four battery replacements and two watch bands. My mistake on the under $30 Hearkent Pedometer watch (model TG2306) was investing in a new watch band plus battery a few days ago for $35.00 before finding out that the electronics have the life span of a fruit fly in comparison to my Dollar store Watch. So with Hearkent, it is 14 months and that it is.In my estimation, considering that when it shuts down in is life span, with the cost of replacing the battery exceeding the cost of a new watch.....Stay away, far away, very far away for the Hearkent Pedometer Watch model TG2306Plenty of other time pieces out thereTwo photos, Hearkent with new watchband and very dependable Dollar Store WatchAnd yes when I get the chance the new watch band moves to the Dollar Store Watch and the Hearkent goes into the trash.

Great for normal time piece.
I’m satisfied with the watch and the fit. The pedometer is not accurate and I wouldn’t recommend it’s use as a step counter. It is always low in comparison to two other counters I use regularly. The watch is still worth the price for normal use for time date etc.

Best cardio watch out there and great price
This is the best watch I’ve ever owned. No charging, no apps, keeps perfect mileage and steps. My walking group has gotten at least thirty people to buy Thai and we allLove it. Yes, we are mostly 40’s -80’s.
