Excellent product. Well made. Easy to assemble and use.
The item was boxed well and simple assembly instructions were provided. The item was easy to assemble and has a solid feel to it. Overall, it is very good quality.Using it was very simple and I found it to be a very effective method of producing fine soil / compost free of stones, pebbles, roots and other detritus. It is not especially fast but still quicker and easier than using a hand sieve. It also avoids the back-breaking effort otherwise required. It is definitely value for money and I hope it provides many years of use.

Good product
Works well. The plastic knob tends to unwind if turning the wrong way but just need to screw back in. The nut of the bolt holding handle to bar can loosen a locking nut would have been better.

Compost comes out lovely and fine get rid of all the stones and bits of wood
Brilliant product easy to assemble masses compost up lovely and soil comes out lovely and fine. The only thing I can find fault with it should’ve been made higher waste height

Does exactly what it says and very well.
It certainly produces sieved soil that would make excellent seed sowing compost. I am relaying gravel paths which have been down for 25 years and have become full of weed and soil. The gravel is going back very clean. I would not have liked to do it with a conventional hand sieve.

Not heavy duty as expected
Ok for the price. Not as heavy duty as expected The main mixing bar is a little short and could be stronger where in is connected to the main shaft, after a few uses the bolt hole that connects it to the shaft has elongated so had to put a solid bar in its place. Other than that works well.

Handy tool for the gardener
Great device for sieving those lumpy bags of compost use the finely sieved compost for the seed trays and the larger pieces for either a drainage layer in pots/containers or placing around the runner beans etc for mulch or just put in your compost bin , reason not a fifth star as the plastic knob on the handle tends to come loose after a while turning so will glue it on

Worth its weight in gold!
Tried sifting soil in our new Veggie patch and was killing myself with a normal styled sifted and thought sod it, I'll give this a go.Honestly this is the best money I've spent all year!Nice and easy to assemble, reasonable build quality. Its a good size and can be loaded up with a good couple of spade fulls of dirt.It functions really well, it still needs some input, but nothing like doing it the old fashioned way.Where the main body and legs of it are good and sturdy it's not the lightest thing in the world, but is really easy to carry around. If my ever breaks, which I really doubt it ever will, I'll be ordering a new one straight away, and have encouraged friends and family to buy them too.

YOUR BE SORRY IF YOU DON't GET ONE.
Easy to put together, but you need to watch the lower fixings as they do come loose. Might work better if scewed on the outside. I found it very easy to use, I should add that I am 72 and disabled, so it is all done from a sitting down postion. So if I can do it I know others will have no trouble. We moved to a bungalow that the garden was all pebbles. Slowly I have removed the stones, and the weed fabric. Stones had been pressed into the soil that needed to be removed, this was a great help. I only wish I had bought this when I first started to do the garden. It has made things so very much easier and the fineness of the soil, I would never have imagined. Part of the back garden will now be grass while one section is ready for the summerhouse on Monday. Infact it was that easy to use I'm thinking of uprooting the side garden, crazy I know, but I have had so much fun and satisfaction from being able to do these jobs for myself after all these years, I feel young again. I would tell anyone redoing their garden to get one. Sorry 1 point I nearly forgot, the pin in the middle holding the bar up should be replaced with a screw/ nut&bolt. The pin that comes with it really don't last long (unless that was me) I just fished out a screw that fitted and had no more trouble.
