Fuyit Double Knitting Yarn 12x50g 100% Acrylic with 2 Crochet Hooks 1200 Meters Balls of Assorted DK Yarn Set Colourful Chunky

I am still learning how to crochet and am at the Granny Square stage. I was looking for a yarn with a reasonable weight that would be easy to work with and, most importantly for me, have a good strong twist to it. I did not use the double ended crochet hooks supplied. The yarn is 100% acrylic and is quite nice to work with - it is soft but doesn't have that "tacky" feel that some acrylics seem to have. The yarn doesn't seem to split very easily - the only time I had issues with it splitting where when my tension was far too tight and I struggled to get the hook through the stitches on my hook. Doesn't seem to be prone to tangling - I forgot to pull my yarn from the centre of the ball and used the outside end so I have to pull swathes free at a time so I don't have to stop and unwind more and it hasn't knotted up on me (undoubtedly there is a yet to that). I am enjoying working with this yarn and it is a great way to learn the technique that works best for me for crochet. The colours are really vibrant and ther eis a really nice variety to work with - would be great for making small amigurumi due to all the options. As this is DK weight and 50g balls, it will go a good long way too.

Certainly value for money and a good selection of lovely colours. Packed in bag with two free crotchet hooks. Will order again when I run out.

Received this item very quickly after I ordered (day and a half). Colours are very bright and match the picture and the wool is quite soft The only issue is that the wool does not appear to be 50g and is in fact a lot smaller compared to a standard 50g wool ball. A little disappointing as If you are trying to make a particular item you aren’t going to be able to finish it as the balls are very small Not sure if I has been sent a different size by mistake? 🤷‍♀️ Will try and get in contact with seller to see if there was a mistake

The wool itself is fine, the colours are vibrant, the quality (before washing) seems fine. However, the product is said to be 12 x 50grm balls of double knitting wool. I make hats and scarves, one 50 grm ball is usually more than enough to make one hat, with some left over. And a little bit of another colour for the trim. However, these 50grm balls only just make half a hat, before running out. (see photo's). As there is only one colour of each per pack, there is not enough to complete the making of even one hat. Very disappointed, but cannot return because I have started to use three of the colours. Photos will show one of my 50 grm balls of wool next to one of your apparent 50 grm balls. Price for price with the wool I buy I would receive 12 x 50grm (full size) for just £8.00 and the same double knitting thickness. These are not 50grm balls at all To complete my two already halfmade hats, (also shown in the photos) I require one ball each of the Black and Red, as I cannot find any shade of either of these that match totally. A very disappointed customer indeed, as I would probably ordered more to complete the sets.

This yarn is great for beginners learning to crochet or knit. It’s reasonably priced, plenty of colours & is nice and strong. A few areas the yarn became thin or broke, but that could be more my inexperience rather than the quality. I’ve done a few projects with still lots of yarn left over. Would recommend to a friend & buy more.

I bought this wool as I bought a book on knitting little projects . I wanted a good selection of colours for the various projects. Although I felt the picture on amazon does not truly reflect the colour. You have to see it . I am impressed. I got them delivered yesterday 12 bright colours .Yellow ,orange, tan,red,white,lime green,navy, ,dark green, purple, grey ,pink and sky blue. Plus 2 crochet hooks which are double ended. The colours are just what I wanted for my little knitting projects. Each ball is 50g. There is also a thank you card inside. The items are from China but stocked in Amazon so fast delivery; I am impressed with the wool and when I run out I shall reorder from them again.But for the moment I have a lot to keep me busy.l

Very happy, making a rainbow blanket for my son and didn’t want to buy lots of balls of wool so finding this was perfect. Crochet hooks that come with it are easy to use and grip. Yarn is nice and soft And really nice to work with.
