This is my absolute favorite eyeliner! I have used this eyeliner since I was in 5th grade! They changed the formula like 5 years ago and it isn't as good as it used to be. But I found the grass isn't that much greener and that it still is one of the best options out there even if it isn't as good as it used to be. It goes on your water line so thick and smooth, especially if you run it through a flame or heat it up a little bit. It is waterproof and it does stay on for 24+ hours! You might have to reapply to your waterline but I think thats just cause it's your waterline, and not the fault of the eyeliner. It sharpens nicely and the smudger on the end is an amazing tool that you should use wherever you apply the eyeliner. It helps set it in a way and makes it even as well as smudges it in so that you don't have just a thick line. The price is decent and it arrives super fast.

Have used this eyeliner for years. I’ve tried other brands and colors, but keep going back to this one. The application is easy and the thickness of the pencil doesn’t irritate my eyes. The color is a dark black, which I haven’t found in other brands. Even applying it daily, a pencil lasts me quite a long time.

When I always come back to this Cover Girl eyeliner pencil. I think I’ve learned my lesson with this classic staple. I marked down one point because this pencil seems a little extra hard with this purchase.

I am using this for my eyebrows. They have become all but invisible since my hair turned silvery white. My former brown eyebrow pencil was no longer a good match with my natural coloring. It was very easy to use this pencil to highlight my brows. The color went on easily and the spongy tip was nice for blending and softening the look. It also washed off very easily in the shower that evening.

The charcoal grey hard eyebrow pencil is hard to find in the stores. Very happy to be able to order it on-line. I have used this brand & color for many years and have found it to be long lasting and easy to sharpen.

I don't have cool colored eyes, like green or blue or hazel. Mine are plain poop colored brown. I had been searching for a pencil eyeliner to make my eyes pop a bit from their dullness. I quickly came across this Covergirl eyeliner for $3. Eyeliners are really tricky to find in drug stores these days, and I wanted a pencil eyeliner that I could sharpen. I was hesitant to order from amazon since the shipping is ridiculous if you’re not a prime member; but I gave it a try anyway. Anyways, this product was easy to apply, but the durability of it was awful and quickly wore. The applicability of it is smooth and direct and I love the pencil feel, rather than liquid or crayon. I am also able to easily sharpen it once it dulls which is handy. The blending tip on the other end was a useful addition, and I often used to wipe off excess eyeliner. Liquid eyeliners are difficult to apply and the crayon-like ones break easily and don’t twist. So overall, I would rate it a 6/10 just because it wore so easily and I can’t go more than an hour without it completely rubbing off. I tried searching for the same product but waterproof, but Covergirl doesn’t carry one. Much better than the Jumbo NYX eyeliner though. That stuff is an actual rip off piece of junk. Pretty disappointing because this particular product would have so much more potential if it was just waterproof. Not bad for $3 though. I don’t have time throughout my busy days to reapply eyeliner, so it was kind of a useless product at the end of the day. Great applicability, but bad day wear.

I really like this product. It stayed on well and didn't smudge. I haven't given it the tear test yet, still to be determined how it performs in that instance.

Doesn't last long. Not enough pigmented so would say for Indian skin tone. Not worth the amount paid and time waited for

Very soft and blendable, in subtle, neutral shade. I have been buying this American product for years as there is nothing quite the same made in UK. Rather high mark-up on price, though.

I have used this perfect blend over the years and love it. I use the smoky brown color, but wanted to try the charcoal. I find the charcoal a little dark, thus I will try the dark brown as a liner with my smoky brown. It is an excellent price, good product and water proof.

I bought it for my daughter and she is happy with it - it doesn't crumble and stays on long enough - so i think it was worth it
