Sex and the New You - Girl's Edition - Learning About Sex (Learning About Sex Series for Girls) Paperback – July 1, 2008

I love these books. They work great for our family. I love that they are age appropriate. I was not sure how I was going to address this subject with my kids and this material has made it easy. This material allows us to be involved with the kids and sex education. It is wonderful that they are getting a biblical based teaching on this subject as well. I would highly recommend this material.

I purchased for my 13 year old daughter and she said it was very informative book. She said that she was dissapointed that the book did not talk negatively about having sex before marriage. Parents, I would suggest reading along with your child and then discussing as you go.

great books, very helpful

I wanted to get a book that was specifically for my daughter. This was the perfect book. I also purchased "I Want to Talk with my Teen About Love, Sex and Dating along with "What's the Big Deal: Why God Cares About Sex". This books shows the male and female anatonomy and goes into why they feel the way they do. This is the perfect guide to start my daughter off. And she will also know the value of staying a Virgin. I love Christian books that speak the truth.

Excellent Bible based guide for a girl starting out in adulthood. Decided to buy it for my daughter just as she was starting second level education (age 12) after having a chat myself. I told her I would get her a book to explain better than I could - I didn't leave it entirely up to the book as its important to leave the lines of communication open. The book is fairly detailed but not unnecessarily graphic. I wanted my daughter to learn the facts from both me and a reliable source so that she knew the difference between truth and fiction and also right from wrong which this book does wonderfully.

This is an excellent book, well written and easy to follow. It answers a lot of questions young ladies are likely to have on the topic. It is written from a Christian perspective, but does not hold back from talking about difficult/potentially embarrassing issues. It has a prequel for younger girls that is also a good and informative book. Worth the read no matter your faith background. The focus is reminding young women of their high value and not overloading them with too much information.
