Welder Nation 8 Panel 10 oz Welding Premium Cap 100% Cotton Interior & Duck Canvas Exterior - Protective Durable Heavy-Duty

I've had this for a couple weeks now and I wear it almost daily in the evenings working/welding/cutting/grinding in the shop and I can say without a doubt this is the nicest most comfortable welding cap I have ever worn or even seen being sold. At first I was like wow $30 for a welding cap but looked nice so I got one now I feel like how many $10 caps do you buy and throw away after a short time before you just pay a little more for something that will last like I'm sure these will and I just bought another because I like this one so much.

So this is probably going to be my welding brand to wear when it comes to caps, excellent quality and material. The measuring charts and fit are accurate as well. (Big plus!) It didn't really shrink all that much when washed and dried. (Never throw it in the dryer after washing though) I love the style and has not faded after 3 months.

I got a super small head got the smallest size they have fits great.

I have collected a lot of welding caps over the years and not a single one can compare the this one. The photo just shows a few of them. This cap has become an every day must not just at work, I also use it when I'm out and about to cover from the sun. At work it keeps the sweat in check and it's comfortable to use with my hardhat. I have five of them and will be purchasing more when more color options come up. I don't like to have two of the same.

This is a great welding cap that is stylish and also very durable. The material is a rougher material almost as if it's a carhartt material so it will last years upon years. It fit perfectly out of the box! I like that it covers your ears so slqg doesn't have a chance to get knocked off in your ear. Unfortunately, the cap is non reversible but all in all this was a great purchase.

I've never been a fan of these welding caps. Mostly because they never held up and no one local ever stocked the right size for my massive 7 7/8 head. A couple guys I work with ordered these so I decided to try one, and not only do they look great but they fit wonderfully. Theyre nice and deep so they fit more like a beanie. They cover your ears almost completely and sit low enough in the front that they don't climb up your forehead which is huge since I'm constantly going back and forth from a hard hat to a hood and I don't have to adjust it on my head. The canvas outer coating is great also. In the week that I've used it I've definitely put it to the test with plenty of overhead welding and torch work and it still looks brand new. I'm definitely sold on these. Best on the market imo and if/when the atlas color scheme becomes available on here I'll be getting another one.

Was a little put off by the price of this item but I must have missed the fine print because they ship you two caps. That certainly made it more of a value and I've been very happy with this purchase. I would buy this again in heartbeat but there's no telling when that day would come. The second cap is still sitting brand new in the bag and it may be many months if not longer before I switch to it. The durability of this item is great ; I wear it welding hours per day almost every day and it's showing no sign of wear. The thread, material, and stitching are solid.The best tip I can give regards care of the cap. When you weld a lot it goes without saying that the cap gets very dirty. I've found that a basic machine wash alone with other items doesn't get it fully clean. The best thing to do is hand wash it in sink with some basic laundry soap, really work it in to the dirty spots, and wring it under water a lot. After that you can put in the wash with other clothes and it'll come out looking darn near new. The other tip I'll give is do not run it through the dryer. Wear it on your head wet straight from the wash until it dries. You'll swear it's been custom tailored to fit your head after that.

I bought this when I took a welding class at my local college and bought it a size bigger just in case since it said just throw it in the dryer after washing it to shrink it. Well, it's still a little big after doing that twice. It's not a deal breaker, it's just not a snug fit. I guess the upside is I can cover half my ears with it. lolAnyways, it does a great job for what it was intended to do. To stop weld sparks from burning your head. Thanks welder nation!
