Bulova B8818 Tristan I Clock, Glass Metal, Brass Finish

Arrived very quickly, very safely packaged. It was easy to assemble, no need for tools. The revolving mechanism needs its own batteries as does the clock mechanism. The clock face is golden, making it a little more difficult to read immediately than black hands on a white face. But it does look that bit more luxurious!

I bought this clock to substitute my old Bucherer anniversary clock, which recently began to stop unexpectedly. Since there is no living watchmaker in my town and I suspect in the whole country, who can fix it, I decided to buy a new one. Today all such clocks are equipped with a cheap Chinese quartz mechanism and the pendulum is no longer a part of it - it is a fake pendulum that is driven by its own motor. And Bulova is no exception. But the clock looks quite authentic and keeps time very good.
