Exactly what I wanted in a volume pedal
I wanted a pedal that would remain at a set volume when rocked back, not turn off. You can set the amount of volume you want along with the gain. It is very well built - I'd call it bullet proof. Very satisfied.

Great volume control
Very happy with this. I wanted a pedal with a fairly linear control and this does that. I don’t want it for swells, just volume. It says it worked with both active and passive pickups but so far I’ve only tried active. Also nice that you can control the range of volume too.

HIGHLY recommended.
Prior to buying this I had never used an expression pedal. I'm sorry I waited 50 years to try one. This pedal provides completely transparent boost, and allows me to adjust volume instantly on the fly without trying to grab a volume knob on my guitar. The flexibility in phrasing, volume adjustment and movement between chords, single line melodic passages, arpeggios etc. is terrific. It took me a little while to fully grasp and appreciate the inherent possibilities of this pedal, but I'm glad I stuck with it. It may be one of the most useful musical tools I have.

Lot of money for junk.
this is a joke. I spent a lot of money to buy a pedal that doesn't bring the volume to zero!!! when you're in heel position with both the volume and gain knob at zero, you still hear sound from the amp. And if you have a long delay attached it becomes even clearer. Plus it's swelling isn't really smooth, it starts with a little step. And it's a volume pedal. It's not like it has many tasks to fulfill. Just a smooth way from 0 to 10. Doesn't seem so hard to me!I've never been a fan of Ernie Ball strings, but with this item, this is the last they've seen from me as a customer.

The gain is kinda nice though.
It works well, but the volume control portion of the pedal only works if the volume knob is turned all the way down. Also, I have to keep my foot on the pedal to get zero volume, if I take my foot off it comes up slightly and there's signal. The gain is kinda nice though.

One volume pedal to rule them all.
Best volume pedal I've ever used. Even better than the stuff from Morley or Mission Engineering. My biggest concern was whether it would keep the tone when used with my 18v active jazz bass and it passes that test with flying colors. I didn't think that I'd use the gain or min volume knobs much but I actually find myself tweaking them more often than not. The action is also awesomely smooth for doing those post-rock volume swells. It doesn't hurt that the pedal is built like a tank and looks gorgeous to boot.

It’s working exactly as expected.
My husband bought this. He absolutely loves it but unfortunately he’s been only to use it for a very short time because of shoulder surgery.
