Used this quite a few times now to gain confidence in what it's displaying. Seems obvious to me now that the information on the box and on this website are incorrect. In states that the Scottish limit would be displayed as 0.220 and the English limit as 0.350 whereas far as I can tell by converting the legal limits of 22 and 35 micrograms into milligrams (as per display) it should read 0.022 and 0.035. Potentially a dangerous mistake although only a fool would drive after blowing anything near an indicated 0.350. Would have given 5 stars and I'm probably being over generous with 4 given this oversight.

Easy to use
This breathalyzer is very easy to use. Though not official issue to any UK authorities as far as I can ascertain, it is accurate compared to other officially issued devices. It has the very great advantage that replacement fuel cells can be purchased to maintain accuracy without return and recalibration.Do not fall into the trap of confusing units. This machine measures in micrograms per litre (1,000 millilitres) of breath. In the UK the legal limits are expressed in micrograms per 100 millilitres. Therefore this machine shows the legal limit in England, Wales and Northern Ireland as 0.35 and in Scotland as 0.22.Always best to err on the side of caution; and to be aware of whether ones levels are likely to be rising or falling.
